I got this system up and running in 2 minutes. The instructions were helpful for set up and it helped that I watched BRS TV to see before I purchased and felt confident in the quality of the product.

The plastic that holds the filters on the main sediment area are so thick that people have thought they were glass. This had almost everything for us to install. Thanks so much BRS. PS if you buy this grab a couple of ball valves and some extra hose. If you are a serious reefer you will find this handy. Only con is there is a LOT of waste water. 1/4 waste water/clean water ratio.

I am taking the leap into my first SW tank and after doing some research and reading the forums about BRS and their units I ordered this one. I am so happy with it! everything came installed. I picked this up on a group buy session and I am glad I did. This makes it so easy to maintain proper topoff level. I was also pleasantly suprised how easy it was to setup. I didn't realize the value of this unit until I attached a float valve to the container I was running my RO/DI water into. Built in auto-shot off works beautifully. TDS meter ensures the quality of my water and the attached pressure gauge is very useful. The set up was a breeze, probably one of the easiest parts of getting started with the hobby. At first, I thought 75 GPD was slow due to the time it took to fill my 125 gallon. But now that the tank is established, and my float valve attached, I have more than enough water for water changes and my auto top-off. A MUST BUY!

Just got the 75GPD 5 Stage Plus System yesterday. It took about 15 minutes to set up. Ran for an hour to to clean out, then put it took work. No leaks and it ran perfectly. Checked DI meter during run time and the output water was 000. Input was 010. I highly recommend this system if you are looking for a RO/DI system that does it all at a good price. PS - Don't do as I did and forget to order a float valve since it has a built in cut off valve.

This system works, giving me clean water , great additional accessories that allow you to hook it up almost anywhere. My biggest dislike of this system is the waste water. I do not think this system is saving me money or water, as a matter of fact I may be spending more on water than I was when I was going to the LFS.
I did go back to purchase the 150 gpd add on, to save on water and cash, but the price went from 54.99 to 74.99 overnight! I do suggest finding something that cuts down on the waste water. I am not sure if I will keep this system.

Discovered this product at a fellow reefer down the street from me. After 2mns of seeing it work, and being able to feel how study and the construction of it, I went straight home and ordered it. Packaging was perfect, delivery was faster then expected. A definite "must have" for anyone thinking of seriously engaging this hobby.

The system is very quick easy to install since it comes pre-assembled. But the membrane housing had a major leak at the thread which sprayed water all over my kitchen floor. Good thing I know a thing or two when it comes to DIY. The housing was a PITA to open so I wrapped the lid with rubber bands and a leather belt wound over it. I stepped on the end of the belt and used both hands to turn the housing. It was late at night so I couldn't buy strap wrenches from the hardware store. It turns out that the lid o-ring was displaced and got mangled on the threads. I swapped the lid o-ring with the housing o-ring and applied generous amounts of silicone grease. After putting everything back together it was finally leak free. Overall, this unit is probably the most customizable system on the market. The price is good as well as overall value.

This unit is a stand alone set-up works very well it is everything that one would need in order to have that precious RO/DI water dispensed at home no more LFS or grocery store runsfor your reef set-up.
The TDS meter makes you assured that you have what you need being dispensed no Guess Work.
All the hookups included in the kit(which) evryone charges EXTRA for or included in the kit pricing make installation a breeze I had a y connector that I attached to the laundry faucet . Everything is installed in the laundry area ,It looks very neat and professional.
I purchased the 150GPD accessory kit with the house pressure being 75PSI the unit dispensed 5 gallons od RO/DI water in 53minutes with 0 TDS oh Yeah could not be happier.

Purchased this unit when I set up my new reef tank. It came perfectly packaged with no damage. The unit is very clean and sleek looking and easy to set-up. I hooked it up under my sink and ran it directly to the tank's sump via a auto top off switch. I did alot of research for ro/di units and this is one of the best values out there imo.

Just got mine up and running I couldn't be happier, fast shipping, quality construction and reasonable price makes this the best bang for the buck, will be buying several more products over the next 6 months or so. I highly recommend BRS.

The 5 stage plus system is built on a metal frame, which is much less flimsy than the plastic bracket on the BRS bio pellet reactor. It makes water at a slow trickle but if you set up a water reservoir with a float valve andan aqua lifter pump you'll have plenty of water on demand. I had an old bathroom sink that I used the drain saddle on for my drain, unfortunately my bathroom sink had one inch pipe not 1.5 like the saddle valve. I couldnt find a drain saddle for a 1 inch drain pipe ai I had to upgrade my sink drain p trap to bigger to get the drain saddle to fit. This kit had everything I needed otherwise and makes 0tds water no problem.

This is by far the best deal for the money. Great product, speedy delivery and great price.

I started my tank using tap water because i didn't want to buy water from the LFS. I soon realized that RO/DI is the way to go. This unit is easy to set up and use.

I bought this unit about 8 months ago but wasn't ready to fill my tank until about 5 months ago. It came with everything I needed and has worked great from then until now with light use (I'd be surprised if more than 1000 gallons have entered it). It has always read 0 tds at the output both with the included tester and another tester I've got.

Over time I've been less happy with how much water goes down the drain and I've been thinking of how to reduce it or use it. I considered the 150 GPD upgrade, and decided to buy it (hasn't arrived yet), and then for the first time actually measured the output ratio so I'd be able to get a before/after. And:

At 49.5 PSI on the gauge before the membrane, with 24.1C/75.4F water, about 2.6 gallons are wasted for every 1.0 produced. As far as I know, that's a really good ratio for an RO unit, especially with my water pressure.

I am still looking forward to installing the upgrade kit, though, to boost production rate and waste even less water.

One bad thing - and it's not the product's fault - is that I just got my city's water report in the mail today and discovered the "Highest Level Detected" of "Chloramines (as Chlorine)" was 2.6 ppm. So now it looks like I should have bought the chloramine unit instead. I think I can convert this unit though by buying substitute cartridges for about $40.

I have 2 clowns, a coral beauty, a flameback, 4 blue/red-leg hermit crabs, and 2 snails (Trochus I think) that have all lived for a few months so maybe the chloramines are somehow being filtered out by this unit, my livestock is particularly hardy, or I'm just lucky. Maybe the water report was a lie. I may convert my unit anyways just to be sure.

I looked at buying a ro/di unit for awhile and BRS has the best deal of them all. It came complete and ready to use. No extra fittings to buy and the several different options to hook it up. These guys are great

The unit arrived very well packed and completely assembled. The only thing that needed to be installed was the R/O tubing which literally snapped into place and the mounting of the unit itself to the wall, which is optional. I ordered an additional 30' of 1/4 R/O tubing so I could run the DI output directly from the laundry room where it's mounted to my ATO resevoir. I have been buying distilled water for top-off, so this unit will pay for itself in a matter of a few months and the filters and membrane won't need to be replaced for likely a couple of years since I'm only using the unit for top-off. It's also rather nice not having to lug 10 gallons of distilled water in the house every week pouring them in the ATO one by one trying not to spill...great product, great price, great quality.

Even for a "non-plummer", this system is extremely easy to use and produces perfect RO/DI water. Save yourself the hassle of running to the store for water, buy this unit. With all the included connections, its easy to find one that will work in your home. It is worth buying the accessory faucet connections... if you don't purchase it now, you may find you need it like I did!

I'm not going to lie, I had no idea what RO/DI was when any of my LFS's kept telling me about it. After doing the research I knew it was something I wanted in my home.

100% WELL WORTH THE MONEY! When you factor in cost of gas (to and from the fish store), cost per gallon (depending on size of tank), and the fact that you go to the fish store every time you run the possibility of leaving with something you didn't intend to (quite common), you save yourself a FORTUNE.

Plus, to top everything off, I now use this for my drinking water, cooking water, etc. Definitely a well worth investment in my personal opinion.

Great value for a great product. Install was easy and even if you aren't Do It Yourself Bulk Reef Supply has how to videos and articles on how to install and run your RO/DI so if you want a good deal on a RO/DI system this is a must for all aquarium hobbyists.

I ordered this system because of its many features that come included that I didn't have to add later, like the TDS meter, PSI gauge, etc. It is easy to use and it being my first one, I was looking for simplicity.

It comes with all the hookups you could want for the outdoor hose, under the sink, etc. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Ordered this RO/DI system and I'm very pleased with the results. It was very easy to set up. I also ordered the extra filter for removing any extra taste since we are also using it for drinking water. Easy installation if you watch the BRS video. Water tastes great an I'm making plenty of tank water and use a 55 gal drum for storage. No more buying water (fresh or salt) from the LFS. Price was great too.

I just bought this unit after years of going to the LFS and buying water from them. Although it's easier to just by saltwater then mixing it, this is much more convenient as I don't have to drive to get it.

The unit was very easy to set up and it comes with every attachment you would ever need. Having the TDS meter and the water pressure gauge is even better. I will be buying the upgrade to 150g/day so I don't have as much waste water. I would recommend this highly.

Very easy to understand instructions. Easy install. Reliable product. I'd definitely recommend the "plus" system over the standard. The pressure gauge, TDS meter, and flush valve are worth the extra $$ up front. I have a smaller reef system 29 gallon--have had this system for almost a year and haven't had to change any filters yet--still measuring 0 TDS. I make about 6-7 gallons a week. I agree with other reviewers that the only downside is the waste water. In the summer I use it for gardening--goes down the drain in the winter.

The system was easy to install. It didn't work very well for me at first but iti wasn't the systems fault, I have well water and the water pressure wasn't high enough so I had to purchase a booster pump. Now it works like a champ!

After researching reef setups, the water quality is the main component in having a successful tank. So I bought the best RODI that I could find and this is it!!!

Was referred to this on ReefCentral.com when I first got back into the hobby a few months ago. I couldn't be happier with this product. It is so easy to use and setup and not a bank buster eithe"plus" system comes with everything you need to hook up to just about any normal source of water a house or apartment has. Only took a few minutes to setup and is so stress free. I recommend this on Reef Central whenever someone asks about a RO/DI system. Love that it will eventually pay for itself because of no buying water conditioner and saves the hassle of dealing with a lot of different algae problems.

Using this system to make water for my 75g Reef setup. Installation was very straightforward (I did order the extra faucet adapter and glad I did) they give you almost every conceivable hookup with this kit but, I need the special one. No worries, it was only another few dollars. I installed using the video online and it's just as easy as they make it look.

I would highly recommend this unit to anyone getting an RO/DI system.

very easy to install, came with all the parts i needed to install and make operational, within 20 min i was ready to start filling my tank.
My issue is that its slow, and the out bound (aka clean water hose) hose was extreamly short, so i switched some hoses around for more length and convenence.

great value for price. unit works as advertised. 11 tds coming into di canister, 0 going out.

recommend you get the float valve though

This unit is the best value for the money I've found. I originally bought a Mighty Mite because of its low price, but I realized how much more complete and well put together this unit is and sold the other off. BRS also includes much better instructions, which were highly lacking from the other company. Love the unit. BRS has been quality with everything so far.
