Most of the install is pretty intuitive but i tried using the included stem valve on a 3/8" copper pipe and had a real mess on my hands. I would avoid the stem valve altogether!
Once installed the unit works great. I'm at 2ppm on the DI inlet and 0ppm on the outlet. My system pressure only runs around 38 psi and i'm getting over 60 gpd.
Saw a 2 stage unit at home depot today for $250. You can't go wrong with this unit.

I loved how easy this was to install. Instructions are easy to follow and I was getting water in no time. Only thing is how much water goes down the drain.

Great ro/di unit,love the built in tds meter just added assuance that you water is 0 TDS, Great helpful staff who makes sure your getting the best,great 2 day shippin just like they said,IMO best on the net,Thanks!!!!

The effluent water is amazingly clean. I have only two complaints; the insructions were anything but clear, and the post di tds sensor assembly leaked like you wouldn't believe. I ended up having to wrap the quick connect piece with plumber's tape as well as the hose leading in to the fitting. Otherwise the tds meter reads like 6 going into di and 0 out. For that I am pleased. In short, solid operation shaky assembly.

I ran my system with tap water and conditioner for an entire year before I made the switch the an RO/DI unit. I have to say that the fact that this system came with the faucet adapter is what sold me. I live in apartment so I wasn't trying to drill any holes in my plumbing. I don't even have this unit mounted. It just sits beneath my bathroom sink and when it's time to make water I unscrew the cap to my faucet and screw in the adapter. Couldn't be easier.

this package comes with everything you need to start making perfectly perfect water with 0 tds!! the only thing i wish it came with was a float valve but i know that comes with the deluxe system or can be purchased separately

This RO/DI unit is fantastic. It was easy to setup, included all the fitting I needed, and best of all with the included DUAL TDS sensor I am able to phsycially see that I am producing 0 TDS water for my reef tank. The price of this product certainly does not equate to the quality of craftsmanship you recieve with this. If you need an RO/DI system, you need this one!

This should be tops on your list if you are starting this hobby. Quality product at a great price, the tps meter assures that you are putting 0 tps water in your tank.

I purchased this unit a couple months ago and am extremely happy with it. It comes with everything you need to hook it up 4 or 5 different ways, with good instructions. Another great thing is the hoses are long enough to work with. I bought a Coralife a few years ago and all i got with that is the sink adapter an 3 foot long hoses. I would definitely recommend this unit by far the best deal out there.

All I can say is How did i do this with out this lovely piece before. If you dont got one u need one. I have looked at a lot of different ro/di units and they don't come close for what u got
