I ordered this unit two nights ago and it was on my door step today sometime. Standard shipping was very prompt. When i opened it it came with good directions including info and a number to call if there was broken or missing pieces. Unfortunatly my mounting bracket was bent but i was to anxious to setup to pack up and send back.i just tweeked it back and it was good as new. Product performed exactly how everyone said it would. Ro unit made 004 tds and after di it was 0. Only downfall when hooking up is the sink adapter has internal threads and i needed external for all of my sinks. I had to use laundry tub adapter until i can go to hardware store. Laundry tub adapter worked great though. All in all i would highly recomend this product due to its ease of use and quality. Tds meter, pressure gauge and flush kit were all great bonuses. I was gonna choose the standard and get the tds meter later but im happy i choose the plus.

This product arrived promptly and well packaged. I had it installed and running within 30 minutes. I have had it running for 3 weeks now, and I am immensely satisfied with the product. My city water coming into the system is about 207 tds, after leaving the carbon and filters it is at 4tds, and after leaving the ro filter it is at 0 tds. My reef loves it as much as my wife and I. We find ourselves drinking ALOT more water than previously from the tap. If you are thinking of a ro/di system I think you can do no better than this one.

After thinking over about buying an RO/DI for months, I finally decided to get one from BRS. The instructional videos on the website are really helpful for easy installation. Even if you don't want to establish a permanent connection under the sink, BRS has faucet adaptors to help you cope. One note on the faucet adaptor included in the delux version, it may not work for all faucet types. But this is an easy trouble to overcome, I just went to Lowes and bought an adaptor for 2 bucks.
Now I'm getting 0 TDS water, and tank is doing great!!!!!
It's a great value, and you are definitely worth every penny!

My nitrates alone were 80 ppm from the well. My well pressure is only 35psi (not recommended). All that said, I'm making 0 tds water with about a 1:5 waste ratio. L#we's was gonna charge me twice that for half that. And, I'm far from a plummer, but lil' ole me had this thing pumpin' out h2o in minutes! BRS rocks!!!

I bought my BRS Stage 5+ after researching many of the popular RO/DI units available. It does exactly what I expect of an RO/Di unit - and that is produce 0 TDS water. My production is slow, but that's due to my poor water pressure. I have a booster pump enroute from BRS that will solve that little problem. Overall I couldn't be happier with this, though. It's built like a tank, comes packaged so well it could survive a fall out of a UPS truck at highway speeds, it produces 0 TDS water, and it's a very competitively priced unit. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

I bought the 5 Stage “plus” system to get away from buying water (cost and inconvenience). The equipment is of outstanding quality and I am very happy with the purchase. I would highly recommend the “Plus” features, the TDS meter is a great way to keep track of system performance (I lost a tank when a prior DI unit stopped working and I had no way of knowing). The pressure gauge and back flow features make it easier to use and maintain and if not installed when purchased I would probably not use as I should (convenience factor). I have also been using the water in a dehumidifier and the “white dust” has stopped.

I mount this unit directly above my water meter in the boiler room and my pressure gauge is at 60 psi. The waste line is hooked up to my sump discharge line, this way I keep the sump pump from turning on every time I’m either making reef water or drinking water. I live in the Chicagoland area and I would say that Lake Michigan water is a great water source. Overall, water coming out of the RO unit is 2 DTS and definitely 0 DTS after it goes through the DI unit. These gauges make thing so much better and gives you a peace of mind about the kind of water that you are putting on your tank. Why pay for a filtration system that you don’t know what’s coming out. Highly recommend the gauges.

The quality of the product is outstanding and will be looking into getting the 150 gpd water saving upgrade kit so I don’t waste as much water. The MUR-LOC quick connect are the best in the industry and I have no problems with leaks. Is nice when the water stays inside the unit when the system is not in use. Thank you BRS for such a great product!

This was literally plug and play for me. Everything came connected already except for the DI which is so easy to push a tube in anyways. After realizing my sink faucet was too old, and I couldn't use the adapter, I just attached it under the sink and attached the ball valve to turn it on and off easily. There's so many options for connections that one's bound to suit your needs.

The videos are great too if you need them. The only thing I wish is maybe if it came with some kind of end caps for the tubes. I only make water when I need it and when putting the tubes back under the sink, there's obviously some water left in them which likes to squirt out a bit. Other than that, there's barely a drop ever spilled.

The quality is great too and the unit feels very solid. i doubt you'll ever have to worry about leaks.

I'm new to the reefing game but am very happy with this unit. I think I have a unique setup and it's working great.

I have this hanging on the wall in my boiler room. I have the waste line connected to a pvc pipe leading outside my house. The purified line is running straight up about 10-15'. It's then running about 20' horizontal before dropping down about 10' into my collection container. The entire length of tubing is 100' right now but I'm going to cut that back soon. I wanted to make sure I had PLENTY of tubing for my run. Anyway, even with that 10-15' of head and the 100' of tubing my unit is still producing about a 4:1 ratio with 0 TDS. I'm not sure what my source water reading is but going into my DI it's only at 4 TDS!

Best of all, even with this setup there are ZERO leaks. Not one drop. I thought there may be some leaking in the boiler room considering the run I have but nope, bone dry!

This is a great system, really easy to setup, mounted it on the wall. All the things you need to setup, love being able to connect this to a faucet and have the ability to easily switch from using the faucet to running the system. This is my upgrade from a 25GPD spectra pure unit, and this unit was quick to install and performs like a champ with 0 TDS water as promised, you get the best bang for the bux!! Nothing else comes closer with this...although I wish the price can be further lowered and not having to include all the connections as I don't think everyone will ever make use of all of them, but it is a convenience knowing you have everything to get this hooked up right away...keep up the good products BRS!!

I had this thing hooked up and running in 10 min. 5 min taking it out of the box and drueling some. Packaged great. Another 4 min mounting it to my wall in the garage, and a min to hook it up and have it flowing. WOW!!! The TDS meter is a nice feature see what is going in and coming out. I have been pricing systems left and right and was using the TAP water for tank top offs which caused a plague alage outbreak well NOW that is a thing of the past thanks BRS.

First off you don't have to be a plumber to set this thing up. It took probally 5min tops to set it up. I think 4 mins of that was mounting it to the wall. I set mine up on my washer. All I really needed to do was cut one hose to put in my ball valve and I was making water. I did buy a garden hose y valve so I would not have to hook and unhook it from the washer to use it. Overall I am very happy with the unit. Finally fresh, PURE water thanks BRS!!!!

I was able to connect the unit easily to my washing machine faucet. Have used it now for about 1 year. Only complaints I have is that the TDS meter screen doesn't show the last digit clearly. Most recently the pressure gauge stopped working, but that was after a year and constant use and it can easily be replaced. Sure beats buying and lugging water from the LFS!!
