I made the mistake of buying the Jr. then i decided to expand to do other things and i started ordering the WXM, VDM, PM1, PM2 and EB8 x2 and come to find out you can use a max number of 4 modules expansions on the Jr.so now i cant even use 2 of my modules and their probes because of the limitation, if i had bought the Apex i would have saved over 600$ and didn't need to buy the VDM, PM1 and PM2 Modules and one of the EB8's. so take unless you just want to control your basic temp, light and heater don't buy the JR. The only reason i am giving it 1 star is because of the 4 module limitation and not the actual product. for the product i give 5 stars.

Ok first of, let me say what I don`t like about this unit (that`s why I rate 4 stars), #1: very expensive, #2: the programming of it`s not the easiest, the cat 5 that the VDM module comes with does not not tell you wich wires are V+ and V-...other than that is great.
Really well design unit, fancy looking display with a lot of option on what you want to do with the output. Once I figure out the programming part of it, it worked nicely and smooth, giving me a nice natural sunset/sunrise effect. Overall it`s a nice equipment to have.
And now, that I know it works, I will be buying more modules to do some funky things with my reef tank.
Apex, GREAT DEVICE, but take notes on the negative comments and try to correct some of this things.
