I ordered 75 lbs of dry Pukani rock for my aquarium and I love the shapes. The rocks come in a huge variety of shapes and are all very porous and lightweight. In fact, I ordered way too much for my 90 gallon rimless. I did expect to order a little more, but I ended up only using half or less. The rock is that porous and lightweight.

I have had a tank up an running for almost 2 years and used all Pukani rock to start it up. This rock is so porous that it only took 35 lbs of rock in a 57 gal tank to fill it up. I get compliments on my rock from everyone who sees it. I have never had detectable nitrates in my tank and I contribute that to the rock being so porous. I have also never had a phosphate problem that has been described with some other dry rock vendors. I love this rock so much that I just ordered another 120 lbs for my future tank upgrade.

I spent over $100 at my LFS buying live rock and only got 15lbs, I then tried buy 5lbs of fresh rock right from the ocean which came with a mantis shrimp.....
I then decided to order some Punaki and some reef saver rock.
I got 4lbs of each and all I can say is that this "8lbs" puts both my previous attempts at buying rock to shame and I have no unwanted creatures!

Used this in my 20g long and the shapes that these come in was just an absolutely perfect fit to get one large rock and two small rocks in there. Looks so natural becuase I didn't have to stack anything.

I ordered this rock, not only did it show up amazingly fast, but the quantity was huge. 50lbs looked like a hundred compared to cured live rock. very porous and many cave like nooks and crannies. adding it to 15lbs of cured rock to seed and cycle new reef tank. Very pleased, I am.

i asked for the largest pieces they had, each one was over 30lbs with the largest about 3 feet long 2 feet wide and 8 inches thick. they were packed well undamaged. i'm very happy and will look great in my 425 gallon system

15lbs looks more like 40!!! I asked for smaller pieces for my BC14, and that's exactly what I got. I'm starting to like BRS more. I've ordered a couple of times, and they have NOT disappointed me yet with products and packing. Keep it up, and I will recommend you to everyone!!!

I ordered 50 pounds of Pukani rock; the rock was well packaged and rapidly shipped. I received large pieces that were in excellent shape. The rock is very clean and extremely light for it size. It is perfect for aquascaping and can be placed together to form an almost seamless reef design, it is the perfect rock for any tank.

I've ordered a few pounds of rock from several of the main guys out there (we know who the are) for a personal comparison and BRS's Pukani is the absolute best I've come across. Very porous and light. Great stacking ability and drills great. You get plenty of rock for you money. I know a lot of us want to buy pound per gallon for our tanks...be careful when ordering, you might upset wifey a little when you realize you'll have to set up another tank because of the extra rock! Bad for her, more fun for us!

Wow! What more can I say that hasn't already been said. I ordered 40 lbs for my 72 gal, and it was alot of rock. Sizes were great...one piece was about 16" around and 6-8" tall. I used it as a building platform. The other pieces ranged in size from about a basketball to a small soccer ball. Really...it was more than I expected. I've decided to move the smaller pieces to another aquarium, and call BRS to see if I can get just one large piece that I can shape.

I purchased 15lbs of this rock and it is by far the best dry rock I have ever purchased. It is very porous and light weight. I still had the box I purchased 50lbs of marco rocks in and the box this came in was almost the same size...that's how porous and light weight this stuff is... my only complaint about the pukani rock is that it does not look like one single piece of rock like the reef saver/marco rock does when it is stacked together. But with its unique shapes it looks the best in the aquarium!

I have purchased 80 lbs of the rock used 40. It was allot... The curing of the rock took three weeks and put fish in on the third week. I have notice now the light are running that I am getting a hint of bright green algae starting on the rocks. Sort of amazed since I am running Rowaa to remove phosphate. We will see how it goes and shorten the light cycle from 10 hours and renew rowaa as needed. Rock looks nice and take you time to set it up.

Superb!! Starting a new pico tank with a fluval edge so I decided to try this rock and seed it with a piece from my current 46 gallon reef. Ordered 10 pounds.....WOW !! that is alot of rock. The rock is light, interesting in shape, and interlocks nicely creating nice reefscapes that look natural. The amount sent was huge, I have enough for 5 pico tanks!! Well packed, no breakage. All I can say is that I am impressed.

This ranks a close second to the reef saver rock. This rock takes a while to cure (has a lot of dead stuff in it), but it's very lightweight/porus and a great value.

This dry rock is just AMAZING! I didn't really know what to expect because sometimes online stores can be misleading, but this rock is exactly what BRS said it would be and more. VERY porous and has so many hiding spots for my marine critters. Copepods and such can seek refuge in all of the nooks and crannies! You can tell that this rock came from the ocean once, very natural looking and I even got about 14 lbs more than what I ordered! BRS packaged it very well so there was minimum breakage. I ordered 100 lbs and got 15 very unique pieces of rock. There were many huge rocks (2 ft long) and medium, not really any small rocks. May look expensive for dry rock, but DO NOT overlook it. It is the best value for the price, practically a steal! This pukani rock is like none other in the business and is very light weight for how huge the pieces of rock were. Best rock I've seen online, in different fish stores, anywhere. Nothing compares to this rock, not even live rock. Would recommend over the eco-rox because it is not circular shaped at all and it is larger for how heavy it is. I would give this rock 4 thumbs up and about 10 stars for overall value! I recommend this to everyone (beginners, intermediate, expert, etc.)! Get it right the first time! This will be an awesome, easy to place aquascape! P.S. If you get some breakage (rubble rock) don't throw it away, use it in the sump or refugium! Hope this review helped.=]

I combined this rock with the reef saver rock. It makes a nice combination. I did not weigh my order when I received it, but I know I got more than I ordered. These rocks are very porous and have varying shapes that compliment the reef saver rock. I have been very satisfied with the BRS rocks that I have ordered. I would highly recommend them.
