This is very thin acrylic and most people will find that it a) won't work well on a flanged sump, b) will sit too deep on the lower baffles c) fits too tight on some probes and too loose on others. And to top it off it was packaged like jewelery too make it appear more valuable. I can think of very few situations where this thing makes any sense. I should have realized that before purchase.
Rimless tanks only! By Chad on 7/22/13

I bought this because it is cheap and I was looking for a sleek way to mount my probes instead of using suction cups. It broke as soon as I tried to fit it over the black rim on my tank. If only I had read Larry's review before I bought it...

This broke on me within 5 minutes. Not worth it IMO. I used plastic wire ties to attach to my sump so I could use it.

This fits nicely for me on the rear part of my JBJ 28 gallon reef tank.
I have the Eshopps Nano overflow connecting to the Eshopps R200 for a great refugium sump.
With having SPS , monitoring PH is important . This mount is simple and clean and I like it!

This probe holder is not designed to be used on a tank with a top flange/lip. As the other reviewer noted it can break. -It is only plastic and can't bend very far. When used correctly, these are great! Their magnetic probe holder is very nice as well but only holds 3 probes.

stupid suction cups on probes never work very long. Fairly simple product but just what I needed.
Cheap plastic By Larry on 11/20/12

I ordered this probe holder because I didn't want to spend a lot of money just to hold 1 temperature probe. The first time I tried to mount it on my 29gal sump with a black frame around the top of the tank- it broke -and I was being EXTRA careful with it because I could tell it was made out of cheap, thin plastic. Don't waste your time trying to save a few bucks like I did-spend a little extra and get something that is better quality.
