I was not into the stock AI Sol mount for my tank. It was bulky and did not center the light on my Nuvo 16. The wire hanging kit solved all of that. It takes maybe 10 minutes to install and looks incredibly clean -the discrete stainless parts fade into the background. Also, you get precise height adjustment with the wire locking mechanism. My little Nano Sol now floats above the water rather than awkwardly hanging from a bracket.
