I initially bought these to use as mounts for frags. It looks far more natural than frag plugs and easier to integrate into my aquascape. Some of the smaller extra pieces were used in my sump as a bubble trap. A few of the larger pieces were integrated into my tank as 'feet' for my structures. A 10 lb bag goes a long way.

I use this as a substrate for my Seahorse tank. It is perfect for them as they are constantly scouring the rubble looking for pods. At night I look with a flashlight and see hundreds of these little critters on the sides of the glass which leads me to believe that there are enough recesses in the rubble to protect the microfauna from being wiped out completely by the hungry horses. Using this also helps my keep the tank clean, as it is much easier to preform a deep cleaning of the tank by moving some rocks aside, where if I had a sand bed this would be nearly impossible.

I bought a bag for my 20g sump. I had about 50% left over to use as frag plugs. I will never buy frag plugs again. Just bags of this stuff in the future.

I was goofing off and there was enough pukani and Fiji rock that I was actually able to aqua scape an interesting rock formation with several caves in a 20g DT.

Really a great buy for a nano tank, frag plugs, or sump rock.

I ordered 20 lbs of rock rubble for my new refugium and I had to look twice and the amount they sent me. One 10lb bag looks like 20lbs. Pieces of all sizes you would want and they don't skimp on what they send. This is the ONLY way to go if you want rubble for your tank or refugium. Each 10lb bag is the size of a basketball. Also low dust on rubble. Very Very nice product. I am glad I ordered this.

Their “rubble” is better than most others "High end" live rock. There are some great pieces in the bag. I am using most of it for the main display tank as part of the back wall, attached with egg crate. Looks great.

I bought this rock about a month ago for my 40 breeder. I put it in my sump tank/refugium (20L). This stuff is great. I almost ordered 20 lbs because I didn't think 10 would be enough but it was plenty. It came with one or two baseball sized chunks and the rest were smaller. Great addition to my sump and I also used some of the nicer looking pieces in my display tank.

Unlike the others who enjoyed the bigger pieces of rubble, I wanted it to be smaller pieces hence "rubble rock". half my order was to big of a "rubble". I didn't want to go through the hassle of shipping it back so ill be epoxying the big pieces and using the rest for the sump. Don't get me wrong, it is worth the money and it does perform well but really... rubble? Now I need to order more...

Since BRS sells and weighs their rock dry you get a whole lot more rock for the money! I even had a few pieces in my rubble that were bigger than some of the rocks in my system, will have to break them apart but nice to see a few larger pieces if needed. Also the rock is very clean, leading to a very short cycle time.

The live rock rubble I received were larger pieces just like what they describe in the project description. After watching the BRSTV videos on aquascaping you can really see how these pieces will come in handy. Basically they use them to kind of cover the seams in the structure you create. They will also be great in the sump, once that’s all setup.

even got a few larger peaces around a base ball. I would HIGHLY suggest this rubble for anyone looking for some. even if your putting a nano or pico together this would work great for your scape!

A mix of very nice dry rock rubble. Size varies around a golf ball szie and slightly larger. A few pieces were maybe softball size. Great for in sump or main tank pile to promote copepod population. Just what I need at an excellent price.

For starters, it's hard to call this rubble. There are pieces in my bag that varied from small peanut sized - ok that's rubble - all the way up to baseball or greater - definitely not rubble in my book :-). Good porous, clean rock too. Highly useful in filling in spots in your aquascape or populating your sump/refugium. Do be sure to rinse each piece before you insert them into your tank though - there is some dust, most likely due to the pieces grinding together in the shipping bag etc, so rinse that off before you cloud up your water.

Also, as usual, the price on this is just...well insanely good. You can NOT beat the value of this. 10lbs of this rubble is a big bag and again, it's porous rock which will host many beneficial bacteria.

Highly recommended. Go BRS!

There were alot of tiny pieces, which i threw in the sump. However, there were also a variety of different shapes and sizes of rocks, so I was able to make some interesting aquascaping. Also thought one 10lb bag wouldn't be enough, but you really do get quite a bit. Definitely worth the money

This is something that any reefer should "just have around". It's great for mounting a frag, your own or recently purchased. I like to keep a few pieces "baking" in a pile in the DT. This is also good to keep pod populations up.

Size and quality was more than I expected. The 10 pound bag I got was probably a lifetime supply for me.
