Worked well in reservoir for 2 days. Then would not shut off completely, causing overflow. Luckily I had water alert alarm next to reservoir so carpet soaking was minimal. I attached packing minipillow to float to increase buoyancy, which seems to work so far.

Product works great. Confused how to shut off bad water and keep from overflowing. That seems to be the way to shut off the system. No replay with solution.

If you are making your own saltwater and RODI water, and store them in garbage cans, you need these. There are 101 uses for the Adjustable Float Valves. I use them in all my water resiviors, and i have built countless Auto Top Off systems with these and 5 gallon buckets. For this price, a $200 ATO is a waste of money.

If you have bought an RO/DI system, you absolutely must purchase this float valve. Super easy to install and great peace of mind. Shuts off water flow, and stops discharge water all at the same time with the BRS plus unit.

This little guy is one of the best parts of the system. I no longer have to worry about remembering to turn my RO system off. I got the adjustable float valve because it gave me the flexibility to fine tune the level that I wanted to achieve. I will always use a float valve in the future.

Left my RO/DI on overnight and next day at work, came home to a mess in my basement. First thing after that I ordered this valve, and it was the smartest buy I made last year. Unit has been left on for days (inadvertently), but with these valves has never overflow my reservoir. Works great, worth their weight in gold.

If you are using an RODI unit this is a must to install in a brute can. It is so easy now. Turn the RODI unit on and not have to worry about overflowing a bucket any more.

These were by far the simplest and most effective at getting the job done that I needed.

Trying to buy somethinng identical to come in a packaged box was going to cost me nearly 45.00 and I got two of these for under 25.00.

I used the good ole brute trash can to make my fresh and saltwater buckets and have not regretted either. Thanks BRS for an inexpensive flood saver.

Do not forget to change these every so often (like every other year. they do not last forever)

I added a booster pump to my 150 gallon system and the float valve makes it .turn on every minute for about 5 seconds then goes off. Need a better level detector or auto top off system. Only recommend for systems that dont have booster pump.

It was super easy to install just drill a hole, tighten nut down, then attach water line and that's it!

I use these valves on my RO water storage container as well as part of my ATO system. They work as advertised! They haven't failed or had any issues with maintaining the water level I set them at for the 18 months I have been using them. I can use water out of my RO storage container and know it will be full again when I need it without the risk of an overflow!

After spending months filling my water storage barrels on a timer so that it wouldn't overflow, I purchased the adjustable float valve. Now I wonder what took my so long. I installed both valves in minutes. Adjusted both to the appropriate height for my barrels. Now, I leave the BRS RO/DI system running with no worries. I know that after a water change, my barrel will be full again in the morning with no spills. Don't forget to keep an eye on pressure changes and TDS occasionally.

Purchased this product along with my ro/di unit from brs. Hooked up the ro unit under my sink and ran the output line to my tank's sump which is also in my kitchen area so it's very easy. Line is hooked up to this float via a DIY float attackment in my sump as I did not want to drill my sump. Very easy to do and keeps my water topped off. I never have to worry about evaporation. Highly recommend.

I put the float valve on a brute 32 gallon trash can that I keep in the closet behind my aquarium. It works great and shuts off every time but it makes me feel nervous not having a fails ate, so every week or two I open the ball valve for my RO water supply and fill up my reservoir, but only when I'm home to keep an eye on it in case of overflow. That also allows me to empty the old stagnant water and put fresh water. I have a 2 float switch ATO that I top off my aquarium with an aqua lifter and it's nice to only have tI worry once every week or two about water.

What can I say this thing is brilliant and does what it is supposed. Saves me time to do other things besides watching over my Brute container every 30-45 minutes of filling product water. Simple as drilling a hole, inserting and screwing in the included nut. Highly recommend.

Glad I got an adjustable one, one for my ATO reservoir and one for holding tank. Makes it easier to know the reservoir is full and don’t have to worry about someone filling the reservoir properly. My biggest like is knowing my holding tank for RO/DI will not overflow all over the place like it has from time to time. When filling the 44 gallon brute container no more guessing when to shut the water off. I got two adjustable one. Only problem is why did I not get it sooner 

I ordered one of these for my setup. I have a water station with 2 brute trashcans. One for fresh and one for saltwater premix.

I should have researched more prior to ordering though. I ordered the 6 stage deluxe ro/di system and it comes with a float valve. I assumed it came with the adjustable one, but it didnt. No big deal though as i said it works as advertised. I was just trying to match it to the one that comes with the ro system.

I do like that you can adjust the water level to below the hole you drill though. Puts me a little more at ease so you dont have to crank down on the plastic fittings.

I was concerned a 1/2" hole might be too big for these, but it works fine. I installed one in a glass tank used for a sump, and another on a 20g brute trashcan used for RO/DI water. I put a small bead of silicone on the outside of both to be extra safe and prevent any possible drips. Both work great! And definitely get the adjustable one over the other!
