I really like that I'm able at a glance see the color change intheDi that it will need to be changed. I have a TDS monitor on the system, but have learned no need to keep checking it until the color is close to being gone. I'm completely happen with the product.

It's nice to have this color changing resin, but it usually changes long before it's exhausted. I still use a TDS meter to maximize the use and only change it when I see a 1ppm reading.

Great stuff-you can cram it into your container of choice, then pound it on the table, and it doesn't even cry. Now that's selective breeding at it's best. (LOL)
Then, when you're finished using it, you can pure it onto the floor, and lean your head back and dream that you are at the beach while you wiggle your toes in it.

This is the best way to save money and get crystal clear water at the same time. Lets you know when its time to change and works great. The color changing resin is great. You can easily tell when the resin is nearing the end of its life, so I monitor the TDS meter more closely to ensure I maximize the use of the product. The 7.5lb bag is great as I do pretty frequent water changes (about every other week) due to the load within my tank.

My water before RO is 330 after running through a Bulk Reef Supply RO unit and through this resin it is at 0. I like how you can monitor when it is time to be chaged out. I would still invest in a tds meter because I can still run a couple hundred gallons of water after it has changed color. Thumbs up as usuall to Bulk Reef Supply for a great product at a great value.

This replacement DI resin is awesome, you receive more resin then you need, and can fill the canister all the way to the top. My last DI replacement filter didn't come with near this much resin inside, and was twice the price - total value here!

I ran over 300 gallons before resin mostly changed colors. I could not get more than 100 gallons through local fish store cartridges, which cost $90 apiece! This high quality resin has saved my hobby budget!

I tell people all the time at the Lfs u are crazy for not refilling your own cartridges. For the cost you save in filling your own you can buy yourself something really nice for your tank. After purchasing 6 refila so far I've saved $120 compared to Lfs di filter costs. And I'm sure the Lfs is doing the same thing.

You really get your moneys worth here, I burned through 1000 gallons and it is still reading 0 TDS on the exit. I know every water supply is different but this stuff is going to last a long time and I under-estimated just how much 1.5 gallons would be, its pretty heavy. The color changing feature is really nice, although probably a bit redundant with a TDS meter, still I think its cool.

I go through alot of water on my reef system. BRS has by far the best DI resin that I have come across in a long time. My citys water is very hard for my ro unit to get fully stripped of minerals. With this DI resin in my system the water is 0 TDS and very pure. My corals thank you!

I was concerned that a "1 refill" container may not be exactly enough, but whoa was I wrong. It is probably a 3 times refill quantity.

I bought an RO/DI from an ebay site and have had fair luck with it. I got a refill on the DI through them the next time and my PPM were between 12-24. I thought that it was way better than the 145 I was getting before, so I accepted that as good enough. Now with Bulk Reef Supply, instantly my ppm went to zero, "0", zilch, nada. I am giddy with excitement for my corals, and can't wait to see the color change so I don't have to play any guessing games anymore.

As for price, well, I am very satisfied with that too.

The single pack BRS DI Resin refills are great. They fill perfectly the DI canisters from BRS. They are easy to use and are high quality resins. I have the deluxe 6 stage RO system with dual DI canisters and I couldn't be happier with it. The water unfiltered reads in the 340's TDS, coming out of the RO unit brings it down into the 30's, coming out of the dual DI canisters brings it down to 0.0 or 0.2 max! The resin beads change from a dark blue to a dark brown in my system as they are expended. You can clearly see the color change thru the clear canister housings. These are a great price compared to anywhere else on the net. I have noticed a huge improvement in my coral and fish health since switching to this system to make my RO water for my salt mix. I highly recommend this system.
