Product is easy to add to canister I purchased at the time, been using product for over year and does great job. Have TDS inline meter and out of RO getting 3 to 5 out of Deionization Resin 0 for months. Like the color change feature and will never go back to DI material I used in pass.

I'm on a well water and going through a water softener, I didn't think I needed to change my Deionization Resin a lot more then my ro filters but a great BRS video teach how to change DI and BRS has a nice sealed bag so I purchased many bags.

I've tried other resins from e-bay and this resin is way better, lasts longer. Won't use any other.

I Love this product. It is very easy to change. It polishes my water to get me down to zero tds, which is great when you are trying to keep your nitrate levels down in your tank. I will keep ordering this product as long as own a tank.

This is good stuff. I get it in individual portioned bag to maintain the great vacuum seal they have. There is always a little more resin than I can cram into the canister. Color shifting is really pronounced.

As everyone else has pointed out, it's enough for a canister (I used one bag in a spectrapure refillable can and one in a BRS refillable one, the spectrapure holds a bit more). I ran the last batch for almost a year and still got 0TDS, even when the colour had changed... excellent product as always.

Forget buying expensive pre-filled DI cartridges. Get the bulk resin and do it yourself! I have 4 stage DI filter (extra dual DI system from BRS) that ensures 0 TDS water!

The container is actually filled with the amount they send you.

Some groups don't send enough of the material which creates gaps.

This stuff is great the fact that the color changes as it get used is great, our RO/DI unit feeds our whole house (drinking, ice maker, 2 reefs) and all I have to is glance at the DI if it's all brown time to change if still blue it's still good to use.

Takes the guesswork out.

I love how this DI Resin changes colors to let me know when I need to replace it. It works great and the price is good. Will definitely keep ordering this.

Works well. Doesn't seem to last as long as spectrapure, but is far cheaper. I don't have to change often anyway, so no big deal for me

Perfect amount to refill my canister. Vacuum seal is tighter tighter than one I purchased from amazon. From this point forward my resign purchase will be from here.

Zero TDS-- Good Reef Keeping 101. This product does it! I'm using the dual DI. I don't wait for TDS readings to rise, I see it almost completely brown and rotate the 2nd canister to the #1 hole and refill the depleted canister and replace in the #2. It doesn't cost that much and it works excellent to keep TDS at 0.

Economical and accurate! There is zero TDS until the column goes from blue to completely brown, and even then you have plenty of 'water' left in the column before you have to replace. Replacement can be a little messy, but it's a small price to pay!

This media works great and the color changing ability is just an added benefit. Make sure to compact it in like they recommend as well or else the water will channel right around it. Another great Bulk Reef Supply product!

I purchased the large bag of resin because I am planning on using a lot of water over the next few months. I filled both DI filters with new resin and then closed the foil pack and put it into a large vacuum pack food back and vacuumed that to reseal everything up nice and tight. Hopefully I can make it last this way.

Check out the video before you repack and you won't have any issues. Also, I really appreciate products which offer a visual indicator of required action - color changing resin does just that. I still use a TDS meter, I just like knowing what % of the resin is still active.

Lasts for at least 6 months in my RO/DI. Works great. The color changing feature seems to be a little off, as mine will change colors but still put out 0 TDS.

The fact that it changes color when spent makes it fool proof. 1 cartridge refill is just that and a little more.

I have ordered this resin multiple times and pound for pound I have yet to find a better value. TDS coming out of my RO/DI system is always 0 and as others have stated, the color tells you when it's time to replace the resin.

This is a great way to save some money in this hobby. Refilling the cartridge could not be easier, especially with the instructional video here on BRS. My resin seems to last about 8 months. I make around 500 gallons of water with it in that time with an input TDS of around 5-10 ppm, and 0 TDS out. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Stopped buying pre-flled, non-color changing (all my RO "manufacturer" ever had in stock) DI carts.

Bought a couple of the refillable carts and 7.5 lbs bag of this color changing DI from BRS.

I run it in two stages - the last 2 stages after the membranes, and almost 4 months in, I am finally seeing 30-40% color change (it is very obvious and reassuring) in the FIRST stage. 2nd stage is still completely untouched.

My plan is to wait until the first stage is about 90-95% color changed, then move the cartridge from the second stage to the first stage, and refill the exhausted DI resin and place the "new" stuff in the 2nd stage, since in theory the 2nd stage would remain un-tapped for quite a long time otherwise.

Doesn't clump up in bag easy to work with - just work over a sufrace where if you drop some it can be picked up - like over newspaper or something - lots of tiny little beads that aren't fun to pick out of carpet. :)

Thanks again BRS - and the only thing the jury is still out on, so to speak, is if I should have bought (2) of the single cartridge sized packs instead of the expensive 7.5 lb bag - I have filled the original 2 cartridges and seled and refrigerated the remainder - I hope it is still viable/good when it comes time to refill, or I will have wasted money. The BRS resin lasts much longer then what I was used to, so I really thought I'd be thru it in a much shorter time.

Also consider selling or proving replacement "sponges" for your refillable DI carts.

Being able to see the color change as the resin quality is diminished is great. I wish all of our chemicals, additives and supplements could tell us visually when they need to be changed.

I've used color changing DI resin from other vendors before, and always seemed to burn through it relatively quickly. When I consolidated the vendors where I get my consumables, I started using the BRS resin.

I am amazed at how long the BRS resin lasts...it seems to be about 3 times as long. I don't know what is different about it, if anything... but it's a great product and I'll continue ordering it from BRS.

I have been using this resin for more than a year with great results. Save money and pack your own cartridges. I use the BRS refillable cartridges in two stages. Very fast and easy to do. BRS has a video on how to pack the cartridges correctly.

I have been using BRS Color Changing DI resin for more than a year now. It works great, and is very affordable compared to the other options on the market! Just make sure to pack it in the cartridge as they show on the video to see optimum performance! I didn't do this the first time I purchased it and it did not last as long as it would have otherwise!

BRS resin provides me 6-8 months of ) TDS water out of my RO/DI Unit.

I like the 1.25 lb size so you do not have to worry about storage after opening. I am a little concerned because the resin is only lasting about 2 1/2 months before TDS level rise to 3 or 4 ppm.

I have well water with high co2 and because of that I would use up the di resin that I had purchased from another supplier very quickly. BRS's di resin seems to be lasting longer!I am getting pure 0 ppm TDS water out of it!

I love this resin. It is high quality. Because it allows me to fill my own cartridge, it saves me money, plus other resins at other places cost more.
