Get one of these and some poly RO tubing to make acclimating your paycheck easier... I mean coral fish and inverts. I don't know about you but I'm tired of using airline tubing, suction cups and specimen containers.

I started with the valves that came with the RO/DI and float valve kits, and then realized I could use a few more. The more I added, the more I realized I should put these things in between every place I can think of, since it makes servicing the RO/DI unit, the saltwater mix tank, the Carbon/GFO reactor, the new fish acclimatization, and everything else so much easier. Buy a few extra just in case. You will find a way to use them.

Very convenient. Great quick connect/disconnect when setting up water lines. Easy to use, even one-handed. Have 1/2 a dozen on my tanks & DI system and all have done their jobs well. Have even used one as a temporary ATO with a very controllable slow drip while my main ATO was offline.

I get these all the time. Can be used for 101 different RO Applications. ATOs, Shut offs from ATOs while you fill them, Shut off for SW reservoirs while you mix and WC. I can go on and on. Worth every penny!

Works as advertised, but the screw that holds the handle on rusts like crazy if it gets salt spray on it. I doubt it's going anywhere, but it's something to think about.

This ball valve is extremely easy to add into your water line. Just push the water line in and that's it. Very easy and seals water tight. The valve is also easy to turn and can tell the whole thing is great quality.

I have to admit, taking a few minutes to review plumbing fittings would normally seem like a waste of time.... but these Mur-lok fittings are so above and beyond what most local retailers carry (HD or the other one - L****) that they really deserve some attention. These valves, and all the other Mur-lok fittings I've bought from BRS, are super heavy duty, have double seals, and when put side-by-side with something from the local hardware store it just makes the others look like toys. For basically the exact same price (within a few cents), or even cheaper than what the local stores carry, I'll be buying Mur-lok fittings for every project -- not just the reef tank ones. Super impressed with the quality of these, and not surprised that this is another excellent item available from BRS.

This is a well-built, nice fitting with a solid, reliable feel to it. Unfortunately, it leaked from the union between on how fitting and the valve body itself, where there is a small seal. Wrenching didn't do anything. A touch of cyanoacrylate seems to have patched the problem, but that's only temporary. I'll have to get another one or bypass the valve completely.

This ball valve is very easy to install, and also allows for a surprisingly precise adjustment for my gfo reactor. It has a nice solid feel to the adjustment as well.

I have had one of these valves in use on a system with over 90 PSI for 14 months now with no problems. The action is solid and quality. I do try to hold the feed line when I turn the valve, but my installation is not permanently mounted so I am concerned about pulling the tubing out accidentally. To date no problems and I shut off the valve regularly to isolate my RO/DI filter from the high city water pressure. I have ball valves in my home that don’t perform as reliably.

This ball valve operates smoothly to allow for fine adjustments to water flow. I have this on the dual BRS reactor. The size is also not much larger than 1/2 in tubing making installation convenient for under tank cabinets.

This is the best way (yet) to dial in the perfect ammount of flow for your BRS reactor ( or any other reactor that this would work on). The push connect fitting ensures no leaks and that setting it up is a breeze. I would reccomend this product to a friend.

They operate smooth as silk. Twist on Twist off. Installation is a snap --- well actually a simple push. I combined with two 90 elbows and a "T" having one valve coming off my saltwater replacement tank and one on my RO/IO tank. A line is routed to a float valve in my sump. I can open one valve to top off with saltwater after a water change or leave the RO/IO on to replace evaporation.

I got my first exposure to these valves when I ordered my RO/DI 5 Stage system about 9 months ago. I had never heard of the maker before, but I hate to buy anything else now. The valves you buy at big box stores or even the original JG fittings feel so cheap compared to the construction and action of these little ball valves. I have them in my RO plumbing as well as using some in applications with salt water running through them and 9 months later they all open and shut like the day I got them. Another great BRS product!

If someone needs to use the sink while you're working on the RO system, this valve is indispensable!

So you've shut off the water at the sink, taken out the RO system, and whoops! Someone needs to use the sink. What to do? Drop one of these guys on the incoming 1/4" line that you just cut and you're good to go!

I bought a bunch of the quick connect fittings to set up a Jumbo and single reactor for my 150 gallon tank.

The push connects are real easy to use and can be used for other things than just RO system.

The fittings are nice and small and do the job.
