Easy and Cheaper then standard bulkhead By Andy on 8/25/11

These 1" Uniseals are super easy to install. I use a little vasaline and it slips right in. The bigger the bulkhead the harder they are to install. 1" is easy. Just make sure your holes are smooth and clean to prevent leaks.

Great Bulkhead Alternative By Andy on 8/25/11

The bulkheads are very economical if you are needing to install a huge amounts. Just keep in mind that the bigger you go, the tougher they are to install. I installed 18 of these 2" Uniseals and they were very hard to push in and I am a pretty strong guy. I also installed a couple 1" Uniseals and they were a piece of cake. Once they set in, they are pretty hard to adjust. I would consider using these again if I was install bulkheads less then 2". Another thing to keep in mind is that you must have a very clean and smooth cut for these to not leak.

Just what I needed to use in my skimmer! Keeps a very tight seal. No trace of micro bubbles.

Awesome Product By Nathan on 7/15/11

Very, very happy with the Uniseals. So much nicer and cleaner than bulkheads. I was a little skeptical, but no leaks after a couple weeks, and they look great. Can't comment on long term durability, but so far so good. The only negative is how hard it was to get the pvc into the uniseal. I had to chamfer the end of the pipe with some sandpaper to get it in.

Great for any surface By Chris on 5/19/11

First used it for an adapter on an old plastic garbage can and then as the output on a DIY skimmer I made. Even plumbed twice it has worked flawlessly and no leaking - on two different types and thicknesses of material.

Great product BUT 1 problem By David on 3/16/11
David would recommend this product to a friend
I am very impressed by the performance of this bulkhead. No leaks, no salt creep, cheap but only one problem. it's very hard to remove the bulkhead once you put it in. I cracked acrylic tanks putting in the uniseal and it's close to impossible to remove it.
My suggestion is pick a good strong spot to drill like on a corner of the tank.

Very satisfied! By Evan on 1/21/11

I bought 2 of these to plumb 3 plastic barrels together to be used as a sump. I had already installed some old uniseals that took about a thousand pounds of pressure to install. So when the new uniseals from BRS went together in a matter of seconds I was very happy! The new uniseals were more flexible and felt like they were straight from the factory. No leaks !!!!!

A Must Have if you use GEO Equipment By Rob on 1/11/11

I use a lot of GEO equipment in my system and all the reactors use these Uniseals for various feeds, outputs, etc. One of the best ways to avoid leaks is to replace these every couple of years, so I always keep a few on hand. They are also great in water storage applications where you are using PVC but don't want a big heavy bulkhead.
