This is one powerful magnet! Almost too strong for my 1/2" thk glass tank. I use it with the scrapper to remove hard stuff. I haven't put my hand in the tank for cleaning once after I got this...

This is one powerful magnet! Be careful when you take it apart to put it on your tank that you don't pinch your fingers (I did). It works great. my tank is 3/4" acrylic and the magnet has good pull even at that thickness. Although the information doesn't say it - it does come with a acrylic safe pad - so don't hold back if you are thinking it's just for glass!

I love this thing, I have had others but the magnet is much stronger with the Hammerhead. You will still have to scrape coraline but this will help with algae..

I've been using this on my acrylic tank and has cut my cleaning time down considerably. Hasn't left a single scratch, unlike the mag floats.

First mag flaot I have bought for more than $20. I was very impressed with the real wood and being able to change pads. Just a warning watch the fingers with it and don't place it together without something inbetween it, magnets are very strong.

Well, I have been using this for about 4 months now and It is great. I would never consider buying another Mag Float again. It is strong enough to remove algae quickly, but not too strong so it easily is moved around. Plus, the "wood" exterior has a MUCH nicer look than a baby blue mag float. Bottom line - Money well spent.

I managed to clean my 96" x 18" display within minutes. No need to keep going over the same area over and over. Just a few strokes and you're done. In fact my wife loves it so much that she takes the liberty to clean the glass every so often. Also switching panels is really easy without having to put your hands in the tank to reposition the inside magnet. Magnet is so strong that they are attracted from almost a foot away.

A big improvement over my old MagFloat... kind of pricey but worth it. Cleans the glass quickly and easily.
