This kit has everything that you will need. I realize that you could get all the parts at Home Depot but you would have to purchase each item separately and for more money. Now I don't have to worry about my wrasse's jumping out of the tank!

Great job, BRS! I wish I had known about you all sooner. The kit was very easy to put together, though the 3'x2' dimensions likely mean almost everyone needs to trim this at least a little (probably cost-prohibitive for you to include a throw-away saw, though!). Luckily I have a hacksaw and some medium sandpaper. The assembly looks great and does its job. Thank you!

These are very easy to do and a great solution for jumpers. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to assemble 3 separate screens for my 250 gallon tank. You could probably go to Home Depot and get everything, but just much easier to get the DIY kit. Worth the money. Doesn't affect the lighting at all.

Ordered 3 ft. quarter in. mesh kit. All you need is a dremmel to cut the aluminum tubing. You get extra mesh and insert to hold mesh. Put it on my 40 breeder reef tank. The tubing is about 4 '' extra in length. I couldnot use it all since I have equipment hanging off back of tanksince I donot runa sump.So I just cut a 4'' strip of eggcrate to go around my skimmer,refugium,and penguin200 filter.Now I don't have to worry as much about my yellow coris wrasse jumping out of the tank.Well worth getting if you have FISH that jump!

I'm the rare female in this hobby whom is pretty handy. However, I needed a screen top for my new Deep Blue Professional 60g rimless and bought this kit with some hesitation. It was super easy and took about 30 minutes because I stretched the mesh too hard and hard to start over. Great looking clear mesh screen top which I couldn't find at Home Depot. Thanks BRS!

I didn't give this 4-5 stars because they aluminum frames were not perfectly straight, which caused some problems. I had to inset this frame into a rimless aquarium and create small tabs to hold it in place. The slight arc in the frames created a 1/2"+ gap where fish could jump out.

Unless you're doing a highly precise installation then this option should work out perfectly for you.

Great product. Takes a little while to cut to size but no biggie, very easy. Doesn't cast any shadows, superb alternative to egg crates. Would def recommend to anyone looking for a sleek screen top to their aquarium. Quality stuff. Thanks BRS!

My 120 Gal has a center-brace. Ried helped me modify the kit to maintain kit price with addition of extra corner braces & frame. As others mention it goes together quickly and its not hard to get the netting taut. The brown/black frame is a perfect compliment to my Aqueon Tank.
I had to account for a few cords & tubes entering the water at the back so I had to leave a gap. The frames are strong enough to span the 24'' gaps without a problem. I had plenty of each kit item and didn't have to buy a roll of spline at the local box store. This saved $$. Great product!

Great kit! Measure twice and cut once if ou need to trim the pieces. All quality material with a nice 1/4" mesh that won't block lighting.

This product does take some patience during assembly. However aesthetically, I've yet to find a more appealing cover. I have a glass cover on my 55 gallon freshwater and the gas exchange is quite poor. One word of caution, water will splash though if using a low hanging lighting system. I doubled up my mesh netting to catch more of the water.

Kit is okay. But if i buy a 2'x2' kit it should be 2'x2' when assembled. You should not have to make cuts to get the size you ordered. If i wanted cut and modify i would not have bought this kit.

All bars needed to be cut to size, then endcaps fitted, then roll the spline into the groove and trim excess. I think it took about 30mins to complete. BRS has a video guide as well. Remember before cutting the bars you need to account for the endcaps
