I've been using this stuff for about a year now and since starting I've noticed my corals coloring up and growing better. I was having an algae out break. Did some large water changes and started running GFO...no more algae. Been using it since.

Yea my Phosphate in my tank was running at 0.14 i started useing this High Capacity GFO and less then 24 HRS it went from 0,14 to 0.01 all i can say is wow

I have been fighting high phoshates, the LFS product helped but I could rinse it for over an hour and still get fines. This product was passing clear water in under 30 seconds. The price is also a lot cheaper compared to the LFS who sell the standard GFO for more per volume than BRS high capacity GFO. My phosphates are dropping faster with the deluxe brs reactor, compared to just floating a bag. My coral are starting to glow and my macro algae is showing some really deep color.

I was having a hard time deciding between regular GFO and HGFO mainly because of price. The reef calculator helped me decide. I could avoid using a jumbo reactor with the HGFO which saves me space. After using this for two weeks my phosphates were at 0. That's down from 2ppm. Excellent product.

I have a 1000 gallon tank. Heavy Bio load, I like feeding and I do weekly water changes and use RO-DI water but the PO4 levels were always high until I bought my BRS single chamber reactor and started using GFO- High Capacity Ferric Oxide.

When your ready to setup your GFO reactor's performance this product will not let you down. I have this running in my Deluxe GFO reactor with MAXIJEt 1200. IMO BRS's recommendations are the best choice. Watch the videos on BRS, they are awesome.

This is hands down the most effective reactor media to control phosphate levels. It works out to be less expensive due to the absorption capacity.

have used many phosphate removers. Non compare to the quality or consistency of GFO HCFO highly recommend Little pricey but performance and amount necessary outweighs the cost difference of competetiors products. Thanks BRS

I had high phosphates around 1. This is the first gfo I have used and based on my present experience and those of others, I won't be changing anytime soon. That goes for the gfo as well which holds up well and the water out of the reactor is still less than the tank itself after 2 weeks. Keep in mind this is the first time I ran a phosphate remover in the 6 years of the tank. The hc gfo is great for these situations where there is real severe phosphate problems. It does great in a single reactor and perfect if your tank is under 125 gallons. With the regular gfo and lets say a 150 you would have to go with brs' jumbo reactor. I wish it was cheaper but you get what you pay for.

This stuff really works my phosphate was at 0.83 and it dropped it over night to 0.24 that is really a sign that this product really works. I have used other products and nothing ever came close to this. A little expensive but this goes to show you you get what you pay for!!!!

Now that my tank is established and I'm slowly introducing different livestock I noticed that the zoanthids stopped opening up. I read online and the blogs were saying that high phosphate levels in the water would stop the zoanthids from opening. I purchased 3.5 Pounds Bulk GFO High Capacity Ferric Oxide and a reactor from BRS and within a week of having the GFO filtering the water the Zoanthids started to open. Now a month later the Zoas are in full bloom and look amazing.

I have used many GFO products, and this one seems to hold its own. I do not have to change the media in my reactor nearly as often to keep low phosphate levels in my tank with this product. Buy in bulk and save!
