In MHO all GFO is overpriced, which is why it only got three stars for value. It took my phosphates from .12 to .04 (Hanna) in one week. Very pleased with the performance of this GFO.

I'm reef-habilitating my tank that I've neglected for a long time. My phosphate levels were incredibly high. I've only been using it for a little over a week and my phosphate levels have dropped like a rock.

This stuff is great! It is 1st time I've been running GFO but this product is awesome. I have let things go for a while so had pretty high phosphates once I finally checked. Close to 0.5. Within 3 days of putting this stuff on line they are down to 0.09. Will see what happens in a week.

I tried the normal GFO and didnt like it as much as this product. H GFO didnt release a lot of dust in my tank and drop my po4 fast with half of the amount I suppose to put in as normal GFO.

Simply the best GFO product I have used, I mix it with carbon in a reactor, does not clump or degrade like some of the others I have tried.

i was using a phosban reactor w/ regular granuals and my phosphate was around 0.22 to .19 and with gfo high capacity it has been at 0.04

It is defiantly denser then the regular gfo. Price wise it is twice as expensive. It works good and removes phosphates. Does it do it better then the regular, Probably. I dont know how well, i can only assume brs did the research for me and i am assuming they are right.

A little goes a long way. Mixed this with ROX 0.8 Carbon (so GFO won't stick together), put into fine mesh bag, and used it like that until I received GFO reactor. Actually got good result's that way.
