I've used other products and found for the price you can not go wrong with this gfo. This gfo helped solve my phosphate problem and dropped my levels to 0 almost overnight. Use it in a reactor which works really well.

I started using this product almost a year ago. Like many of us I started without using RODI I was using distilled water or Ozarka for topoffs and saltmix. The granules need more care in controlling water flow and tumbing to prevent the agent from breaking down and entering the water stream. The pellets seem to be more mechanically stable for use in a reactor. Both products do a fine job in scrubbing PO4 from the system.

Great stuff at a good price. This GFO has low dust and tumbles quite nicely, all you have to do is tune your reactor till the output water is reading 0 P04 and your done.

I run BRS GFO for the last year and a half in my 250 gallon system and its great, it doesn't leach phosphates as some of the other product out on the market. It also work very well in a media reactor as it doesn't break down.

I have always used this in BRS reactors which make it easy to use and replace. I watch the rate at which algae grows on my glass as a basis for when to replace my GFO. This product is great for beginners and experts.

Even with just running in a filter sock, my phosphates dropped by half in just 2 weeks. MAKE SURE YOU RINSE BEFORE USING. This stuff turned my tank red for about 2 days, but that was my own fault. Highly reccomended!
