This is a great product at a reasonable price. I started using it on my 90g reef tank, and it did a fantastic job of eliminating my phosphate problem. I will continue to use this product on a continuos basis.

This product performs well and has minimal dust. Care must be used when setting up flow rates through the reactor. Too fast and it will grind it self up and too slow and it will settle to a fused lump. With a little practice very easy to setup and run.

This stuff just works. Im running it on a 75g mixed reef and couldnt be happier. Using it in a dual media BRS reactor is simple and makes flushing dust ez.

I have bought many types of GFO through the years, at varying prices. The bottom line on this product is that it is affordable if bought in bulk. Further, it is clean. Not a lot of dust. Recommended.

This stuff really works, has lowered my phosphates at a great price. Don't get ripped off by name brand GFO that does the exact same thing.

I have a smaller system , 80 gallon with 40 gallon sump/refugium- I use it in a BRS 4X8 mesh bag- I rinse it 3X in RO/DI (about 1/3 gallon each time)- just takes a few minutes- then place the bag in the return flow in the sump. I change it every 2 weeks. Works great.

No question this material works well. Use it in one of the reactors offered here and adjust the flow as instructed. It last longer and worked faster than I expected after using other brands.

I use this product in a large media reactor (1000 gal+ system) sandwiched between two layers of carbon so that it doesn't escape through the top of the reactor. It brought down and continues to maintain phosphate levels at or near zero. Once the loaded up media reactor is ready to go, it is imperative to send initial exit water out into the sink/sewer and not into the tank until the water runs clear for a couple of minutes. Works like a charm.
It is also a good idea to load up your media reactor in a well ventilated place (ideally outside) as there is quite a bit of rust dust that becomes airborne when used in large qtys.

This is so much more cost effective than purchasing GFO from anywhere else I could find. I believe the GFO pellets are the way to go and they do a great job keeping phospate in check.

I purchased this product along with the ROX.8 Carbon to use in the Dual BRS GFO and Carbon reactor. What an incredible solution to my phosphate problem! It has reduced the phosphates to below my test kits ability to measure. It's great. I don't have any problems with it causing any dust in the tank at all. It's great and I keep using it constantly in my sump.

Just got the new gfo pellets working great. Been using tlf not even close to BRS this stuff is awesome.
