with the BRS reactor, this GFO is not only affordable, it does a great job. I originally purhased this when I had a dyno outbreak, which went away! But now its just part of my system. I use 2TSP per 4 gallons of water, change about once a month.

Works good lowered my PO4 in a single night I would recommend using this but I feel that the HC GFO would be better because you can treat a larger water volume in the same size reactor cartridge and can still leave a little room for tumbling. Plan on having some water made up for rinsing.

Have yet to get a reading other then zero from a phosphate test since i started using this product. Very low dust, once flow is set through reactor dont have to mess with and it never clumps.

Few things in Reefing I live by and GFO is one! It cuts my phosphates to 0 using my Hannah Phosphate reader! This is a great buy if your using a reactor because not only are you getting a great price but the Reef Calculator on the homepage tells you exactly how much to use. I do wish however it came with a measuring tool.

This stuff is great! When I first started this my phosphate levels were above 1.0. After a few weeks I was way down in the point .1s. Now I do it regularly and only have to replace the media every 5 weeks in the dual reactor.

I just wanted to share that one thing i love about this product is is alot drier than the phosloc brand so it tumbles alot better in my reactor and does not require as much force from the pump. Also works great at removing phosphates i know when to change it because algae starts growing on my glass again. :)

I recomend this GFO to anyone with phosphate problems. I have made GFO a part of my regular maintainance and I think my corals love me for it.

Great product and no difference between this and higher priced products. It does create some dust but all GFP products do. I do not even bother checking my phosphates. All I know is I do not have unwanted algae growth.

I was having problems with algae outbreaks even with using RO water etc. After about 2 weeks of use with this product the algae has subsided and my clean up team is able to keep up with it again. Easy to use with the BRS dosing guide. I use in filter bag in sump with power head circulating water to it.

One of the better ways to remove excess phosphates from your reef aquarium. I was having some serious cyano and hair algae problems and within probably a month of using this product, they were gone. I also didn't do h2o changes and kept the same husbandry to see if it actually was this and I'd have to say that it was.
