If you have low calcium or just need to maintain your calcium levels, this is the best and easiest product I have used. Can't go wrong with Kalkwasser.

Tough to beat the prices for kalk or any other dosing supplement that BRS offers. This stuff is a god send. Just add it to the top off and the levels of alk and calc stay much more constant without any other dosing.

For my set up, my SPS and Coralline algae only grows when I have Kalkwasser in my top off water to keep the PH high.

I started dosing kalk a year ago a friend gave me a sealed bucket of BRS Kalk. This has worked with out issue. You absolutely can not beat the price for the bucket. Buy a bucket and not have to worry about purchasing again for a long time.

I have had ok luck with other brand disolving and not leaving a big mess, but this product disolves alot better and works great. The bulk size is perfect if you use kalk daily.

I can say that I was always afraid to start dosing Kalkwaser. But, now with the BRS Kalkwaser and their calculator. My system couldn't be more stable without the use of a control which I am adding soon. My ALK, Calc and PH are spot on and do not fluctuate and I am using less of the ESV Two Part Solution to keep my parameters at optimal levels. Would recommend anyone who has a mixed reef or even a fish only system to use Kalwaser, in particular the BRS Kaklwaser.
