I have been using this procduct for the last two months and it is definitely very simple and affordable to use; just be sure to follow the direction. I started out a bit on the low side.

I mixed up a solution with RO/DI as instructed on the BRS "information" page. I then used the BRS calculator to determine the amount to use. This stuff is spot on. It raises my Alk the exact amount. I am able to maintain a proper level like never before. I am extremely happy with this product.

I have a 100 gallon heavily stocked SPS tank. The BRS Alkalinity mix is by far the best cost saving choice and maintains my needs as well as any of the pre-mixed name brands and powders. I've tried many of the alkalinity and 2 part calcium/alkalinity mixes on the market and have observed no difference in coral growth and calcification. You save so much mixing your own and with over 10 months of use, my corals continue to calcify at an excellent rate.

The BRS Magnesium mix is by far the best cost saving choice and maintains my needs as well as any of the pre-mixed name brands and powders. I've tried many of the magnesium mixes on the market and have observed no difference in coral growth and calcification. You save so much mixing your own and with over 10 months of use, my corals continue to calcify at an excellent rate.
