I was pointed towards this product by a fellow hobbyist. Needless to say over the counter buffer additives dont keep up well with 100+ gallon systems. I found the calculator easy to use and quite helpful. In the end after dialing in my dose levels ive never had to worry, as they are spot on every time. Excellent product and support. I definitely recommend to all my fellow hobbyists.

I've been using this product for a couple years with good results. Instructions are easy and the BRS reef calculator makes dosing this product so easy. Using the BRS calculator and Bubble Magus doser with this product is basically a "set it and forget it" type of deal, and I test magnesium a couple times per week to double check this. This product is so much cheaper than other bottled liquid magnesium products if you don't mind mixing the solution up yourself (which is very easy).

started out with one mix of kalkwasser then recently upgraded (in my opinion) to the two parts solution... I have used other products before but this is really an upgrade on the quality of the product the actual way it disolves and my corals seem to love it... :)

Works great, be sure to use a PH probe when dosing. It is crucial to keep an eye on th PH, but if used as directed you can't go wrong. High Quality Material. Will not buy another brand again!

This is a great product, easy-to-use and dissolves fast. If you have any problems dissolving it in RO water try warming the water a bit it seems to help dissolve faster. Great product and value.

Maybe i'm the only one who was confused, but in case there are others out there who might benefit from this.
My confusion: The tutorial video told me to mix 2 cups of this soda ash with 1 gallon of filtered or RO/DI water, great. But then when I use the Reef Calculator and selected Dry Soda Ash, it said to use "... approx X tsp..." huh? confused.
I then called the customer service number below and asked for #2 technical support and guess who I got? Reid form all the videos, pleasantly surprised to get a familiar voice :-) He explained to me that after mixing 2 cups, what I end up with is "Recipe 1 Alkalinity Solution (Soda Ash)". So that's what I want to pick from the drop down on the reef calculator. This made a whole lot of sense now!
So e.g. in my case, I would "Need: 186.1 ml; 6.2 fl oz; 37.2 tsp" And with my doser which does about 1ml per minute, if I set it to do 1 min per hour, then 186 ml / 24 hours = ~7.75 days.

i wouldnt use anything else to dose my sps tank. i have quite a few large colonies and i have to dose alot. this is by far the most cose effective way to dose 2 part

This product mixes easily with low clumping, and the support from BRS makes it easy to make your solution and easy to dose using the Reef Calculator. My only comment is that the BRS soda ash is not as potent as raising pH as other sources I have tried. For most people thats a good thing, I could use a slightly stronger pH lift. But no matter, the price and value of this product are excellent.

Like with BRS's other additives, the volume savings and the quality of the product makes it a matter of common sense to use theirs. I was comfortable with the other ones but this does the exact same thing for less.
