I've been using this product for a couple years with good results. Instructions are easy and the BRS reef calculator makes dosing this product so easy. Using the BRS calculator and Bubble Magus doser with this product is basically a "set it and forget it" type of deal, and I test magnesium a couple times per week to double check this. This product is so much cheaper than other bottled liquid magnesium products if you don't mind mixing the solution up yourself (which is very easy).

Try pricing out magnesium supplements from other sellers. Nowhere else can you get this purity, at this price, with the support that BRS gives. My mag levels are rock solid thanks to BRS.

Other magnesium options are painfully expensive. I bought the 2 magnesium products from BRS in bulk, saved on shipping. With BRS instructions and their pure products I can keep my levels spot on economically.

I use powder calc and alk from another vendor (as I received a ton for free), but have been using BRS mag for three years and its been very consistent in delivering the proposed concentration. As soon as I finish the remainder of my calc and alk I will be switching to BRS calc and alk two part mix.

If you can mix a powdered kids drink you can make up the Bulk Reef Supply supplements like the Magnesium. I have a 100 gallon heavily stocked SPS tank with heavy GFO and carbon that robs a lot of magnesium, due to my tang population. I really like that BRS gives you a couple of different recepies you can taylor to your systems equipment and needs. The BRS Magnesium mix is by far the best cost saving choice and maintains my needs as well as any of the pre-mixed name brands and powders. I've tried many of the magnesium mixes on the market and have observed no difference in coral growth and calcification. You save so much mixing your own and with over 10 months of use, my corals continue to calcify at an excellent rate.

I am using this in conjunction with the magnesium chloride. Packing was great! I mixed 7.5 cups chloride and 3/4 mag sulfate with no sediment. " I mean no sediment" The water was completely clear as stated with means a equal distribution of mag! This was in 1 gallon of ro water. You will see mag sulfate sediment in the bottom of the 1 gallon container but in a couple of hours it will "completely dissolve". Thank you for a easy combination.

If you aren't sure how much you need get more than you think. Half gallon of mag sulfate and half gallon of mag chloride only make 1.5 gallons of solution. use the reef calculator to figure out how much you need. Half a gallon of solution raised my magnesium to acceptable levels. I ran out quick using the small containers.
