At first I hesitated on buying this product due to the price, but the quality far outweighs the initial investment cost. I can tell a difference in my tank and don't have to dose as much due to the higher purity!

Super easy to disolve, and very clean product... the vidoe is accurate. This dissolves in a matter of seconds and the solution is as clear as the water solute you started with. You will save a ton of money in the long run when going this route over the prepared solutions. Definitely recommended.

A friend of mine introduced me to BRS with this product. It is was/is as it says, calcium chloride, used for increasing available calcium levels in aquaria. Caution should be taken in following instructions on how much to use and with what other additives it should be used to optimize performance and safety of use in your reef system.
That aside, it dissolves fast and clean in R.O. water (producing heat as a bi product, beware) and is a tremendous value. A definate must in the arsenal of chemical tools to maintain a healthy reef system. A+++

I have been dosing Calcium for a number of years now using the B-Ionic Brand, several months ago a friend of mine introduced me to the Bulk Calcium Chloride solution and explained just how easy it was to make your own 2 part dosing media...
Ever since I found this product their has been no turning back, I am now using all three available products for making my own Calcium, Alkaline and Magnesium dosing media...

I use this to make 2 part solution. It's much cheaper than buying pre-made solutions and easy to make yourself. I've been using it for a couple months now and my corals have been growing great!
