By far the best carbon I've ever used. A reactor with it is a must for any tank for me from now on. In 24 hours, it made my water clearer than it has ever been.

wow this is a big step up from the dusty pellets. This carbon works very well in a reactor. Its similar in size to most GFO (small and light) So it spins around beautifully just like the GFO.

As soon as I replace my old carbon with ROX .08. I immediately notice the water clear and diatom algae on the glass are lighter and I clean my glass less often. It worth every extra pennies!

I used to buy any Bulk Carbon.....and I always had issue with hair algea growing in my tank......now after many investigation I found out that my cheap Carbon was leaching Phosphate.....no compromise here I simply took the best available product and after a couple of week I see that my hair algae is finally going away
