By far the best carbon i've used, very little dust. Noticed a difference in water quality the next day. Carbon seems to last longer between changes as well. Will definately be sticking with the ROX carbon.

i wanted to stop using a Canister Filter with my wey dry Filter. thought it was keeping my aquarium water clean and Crystal Clear but i was wrong i bought a BRS Carbon Reactor and used 2 cups of Premium ROX 0.8 Aquarium Carbon. i could tell my aquarium water was getting clear after 8 hours my aquarium has never looked better everything look better from the sand to the fish.i'm so glad i tried this Carbon.

What more can be said about a great product?
Does exactly what it's supposed to do at a great value. I use this in a Phosban 150 reactor on my 40B with great results. I use 3-4 scoops and change out bi-weekly.

Is there really water in my tank? Lemme check.... yes there is.

Don't bother wasting your money with other carbons. this carbon is worth every penny you spend on it. definitely a high grade carbon that doesn't require much rinsing and really gets the tank crystal clear.
since the fact that you only have to add a minimal amount per gallon it stays around for a while.
works great in the BRS dual reactor

Wow. I bought this carbon along with my dual reactor. First of all I was amazed at the tiny little, uniformly shaped pellets. But I was wondering if it would work as well as carbon I was used to buying at the LFS. Within 1 hour of adding this to my dual reactor and hooking it up to my sump my tank water gained a clarity I didn't even know was possible. It is the ONLY carbon I'll ever use in the future.

After using Chemi-Pure in my Nano tank, I also tried in my big tank. Not to knock Chemi-Pure, as it is a GREAT product, but using ROX 0.8 along with a quality GFO in a dual reactor in my opinion gives better results for a fraction of the cost. My only thing I would do different is go from a dual reactor to 2 singles.

This is awesome that BRS sells carbon in a 5 gallon bucket, talk about saving even more money! BRS really helps us serious reefers save money by selling this great size, i hate buying carbon in small containers because before you know it , its empty, and then you have to order another small container and pay even more shipping and handling, not anymore with this 5 gallon bucket, and carbon works great with the BRS reactors! I actually ending up buying a 5 gallon bucket of all BRS CARBON,GFO, CAL, MAG, ALK . This is great for any reefer that wants to save money in the long run for sure!

I had just replaced my carbon two days before receiving my order of Rox 0.8 carbon and assumed my tank water was as clear as it could be. I had been buying bulk carbon from a local fish store for many years and had been very satisifed with both the cost for qty and performance. After hearing several friends success stories on using this brand I decided it would not hurt to try it for a comparison.

With in 24 hours I was incredibly surprised at just how much clearer my aquarium water was, the water visually dissapeared leaving the appearance that my corals and fish were literally suspended and floating through mid air.

Wonderful product and great results that are noticeable immediately.

I just bought a gallon of ROX couple days ago. I noticed a difference in quality right away. While rinsing, I noticed much less fines and dust then other carbons I've used (and I've used about 6 name brand carbons). I just put it in my DT last night, and it seems to work good. Either way, this will probably be the only carbon I'll buy from now on..

Good quality product. Still requires rinsing like everything else but that goes pretty quick. The main complaint is that the granules are far smaller then expected and smaller then the competing products I have tried. This small size probably equates to more surface area per volume but it can also be a PITA as requires lower rates of flow to fluidize so less water can be processed per hour.

I run the ROX carbon in a BRS single reactor and when I set my tank up I added one bag of live aragonite without the reactor running the ROX and it took 13 hours for the water to clear then I added a 2nd bag of aragonite with the BRS reactor running the ROX and within 4 hours my tank water was as clear as can be this carbon takes the cake IMO.
