I am using this in my BRS Reactor. It works perfectly in the reactor and I can't believe how my water clarity has improved. Best carbon I have ever used. I would highly recommend this if you are looking to improve on the clarity of your water.

I've used Seachem, Kent, Marineland and various other brands of carbon but BRS PREMIUM ROX 0.8 seems to give me better water clarity and tumbles in my reactor better than the others.

This stuff is great. Crystal clear water and dust is nill. Rinsing is a dream, runs clear in less then a minute.
I first tried this in the filter core off the return pump. After a couple days the water volume dropped. I'm guessing the high volume of the return pump compacted the small pellet ROX or the 200m bag clogging. I removed it and the volume was restored.
You will need a 200m bag, regular media bag mesh is to big, the pellets will work through.
So, Awesome product, but best left in a reactor or flow over in your sump.

This stuff is awesome but I just do not know if it is worth the extra cost. It is so much more expensive then the other carbon that if your ok with spending that money then buy this one.

I use in my reactor. Much better performance as far as dust goes. I have water running clear through reactor in about 1 gallon versus 10 gallons on my previous carbon.

I use this carbon on my 20 long. I use a heaping teaspoon in a reactor, and it keeps my water clear for three weeks and beyond. In the long run, this is the best value carbon out there.

I run biopellets in my tank and the gelbstoff (yellow water) was getting annoying, and the cheap carbon from the LFS wasn't doing a lot. I put the ROX.8 in my tank and the water cleared Ina couple of days. It cost the same as LFS butaminous carbon but works better. I'm sold. My montipora digitata opened up a little more too. I think I have some allelopathic warfare going on in my tank. I have a big mix of corals though.

Can't beat it! Running it through a reactor and couldn't be happier. Noticeable difference in quality of water. Cheap carbon gets cheap results. Don't kid yourself.

I havent noticed a big different, cause my water was pretty much already clear, but i was having a fishy smell coming from the tank. Lets say that smell was gone in a few hour. This stuff is awesome, a bit expensive but worth it, only used a couple of tablespoons for a 90gallon tank. 1.5lbs will last me a while. No regrets.
