This carbon is great at keeping my water crystal clear. Was looking for a great carbon to use in my canister filter to save me money from buying carbon packs for the filter. This is by far the best carbon I have used in 10 plus years of running FW and SW aquariums. I use it with the BRS "Mesh" Filter Sock 4" x 8" 200 Micron (w/ Draw String) and have had great results. Highly recommend.

By far the best carbon I've ever used. A reactor with it is a must for any tank for me from now on. In 24 hours, it made my water clearer than it has ever been.

wow this is a big step up from the dusty pellets. This carbon works very well in a reactor. Its similar in size to most GFO (small and light) So it spins around beautifully just like the GFO.

As soon as I replace my old carbon with ROX .08. I immediately notice the water clear and diatom algae on the glass are lighter and I clean my glass less often. It worth every extra pennies!
