i had tried all kinds of carbon, but so far rox is the best. my tank look sooooo much crystal clear within 24 hrs. the price is a little high but the quality is totally worth it.

Performance is great, just like the video states as well as anyone else has used it. And for the price it's really a steal. I only change it out once a month and my water stays crystal clear, I could probably go longer. My only gripe with it is that the media consists of very thin "sticks" of carbon, just like the pellet stuff you are used to but much smaller. This makes it a little hard to work with, especially once it's wet, because it becomes a soup like consistency that sticks to everything, plus some floats while some sinks. Rinsing the media then getting it into a reactor isn't nearly as simple as the regular pellets, but it's doable. I've also had to change out the sponge in my reactor for filter floss to keep the ROX0.8 from getting into my sump and display.
Overall, a small price to pay for the performance. I still use it and would recommend to anyone.

This is the cleanest carbon I have ever used. Very little dust when you rinse, unlike other carbon that never seems to rinse clear. Worth the few extra bucks.

I've been using carbon from the LFS. This is a far superior product. I didn't have to rinse this carbon forever prior to placing it in my tank like the less expensive/lower quality products from the LFS. Also, no carbon fine in my sump. Instantly noticeable improvement of tank water also. You don't realize how yellow your tank water is until you use this product. Great value. This size container will last for 6+ months in my 110 gal. tank.

I had to get use to the very odd shape of this Carbon to start with. Once loaded into the BRS filter, it performed very well. Cleared my water quickly. I highly recommend.

ROX raises the bar and leaves all other carbon in the dust. Until you use this product personally, you truly have no idea what carbon is capable of. I am absolutely amazed. With ROX, you can stop using other costly products like Purigen. Don't get me wrong, Purigen has it's uses but if you have been using it for yellow removal, Rox will take care of that!

This carbon allows the fish tank to be clear. There is no dust and it is a great product!!

I recently did a water change before I started running this carbon and the water I took out of the tank was considerably more yellow than the freshly mixed water going into the tank. After running this carbon for a week I did a water change and there was hardly a difference in the old and new water. Really cleared the water up nice.
