Safety First By SlappyNC1 on 7/31/11

This netting works as advertised and is an excellent means of keeping fish in, light through, but letter heat out (unlike covers). You shoudl note however that in a year's time this netting becomes very brittle and breaks easily after being subjected to the heat of metal halide lighting. That aside, being able to keep "jumpers" (like wrasses) safely in the tank is well worth it.

Screen tops and Lighting go hand-in-hand By Fishman on 7/18/11

Screen netting and lighting go hand in hand. Allow 100% light into your aquarium. Glass refracts the light as the tank loses light intensity.

Works great, as advertised. Was curious how it would stand up to 250W MHs 10in above, but I've had them above the tank for about 3mos and durability is like new.

I wish I had a nickel for every wrasse...some like an Orangeback...and goby...and blenny...that's jumped out of my reef. I tried "egg-crate" and they jumped right through even though it was hard to believe they could get through. This 1/4'-screening was easy to install using the screen-framing they sell in Home Depot. I made one screen for each side of the top of my 120-gallon reef...No loss of lighting...no jumping. I really like this and recommend it.

Perfect for any tank By illya on 5/30/11

Many people go with the 1/4" but they were out of stock when i ordered so i thought i would try the 1/2". Im very glad i did because there is no reason to go smaller unless you have some very small fish that jump out often. Has helped to lower my tank temps and doesnt make any shadows at all. This is great stuff and very easy to make a screen.

Pretty good product By GMGQ on 5/19/11

The netting itself is great quality, very sturdy, and lets in all the light that was let in without a net. It was a bit tricky to get the netting taught enough to roll in the spline, and the roller would cut the netting in some areas. But overall this clear netting is way better than the alternatives.

Good product, but be careful about nuisance fish! By Todd on 5/4/11

This is great webbing, but after installing it on top of my aquarium securely, my diamond goby still managed to commit suicide by sliding right through the webbing. I just ended up making a top with the material used in a screen window. But if my goby had been slightly bigger, I'm confident this webbing would have kept him in the tank.
