Nice and heavy socks. Cuts sump noise down alot plus removes alot of uneaten food and crud. Allows me to pull one out and throw in the washing machine and put In a clean one every few days.

on the inlet pipe to my sump, clears up turbulence and micro-bubbles. Does a great job water polishing. Change regularly as they do clog but that's cause they're working!

This does exactly what it says it will do. Catches everything coming down into the sump and is easy to turn inside out and wash. Purchased two over 6 months ago and both are still in great shape.

It's a nice filter sock and they do say to get the other if this fills up too fast which is what happened to me. I would also get the larger sock in the future as I didn't realize 4x8 was as small as it was. Other than that it does a great job at trapping all kinds of stuff from going to the DT.

Great for lower flow systmes. Catches just about everything, but gets to dirty to quickly for higher flow systems and needs to be changed every few hours. this would be great in 100 micron.

I have a sump with a small intake chamber to the skimmer. There is not much room for mechanical filtration and this sock fits the bill. I tie it around the overflow drain and it does a great job.

use as a pelrefilter for sump and works great. and since the sock is huge i can let it go for 4 days without having to worry about it clogging. and around where i live this sock would cost 4 times as much so i am very happy with this item

This is definitely a sturdy filter sock with great potential, but it just wasn't right for me. The sock would turn brown with organics after just 2 or 3 days and I don't have a whole lot of room in my sump and I hated trying to take this thing off my sump drain to clean. I'll stick with the mesh.

These really do work. Catches lots of small little particles that would otherwise be floating around in your tank. Draw strings are convenient and the socks hold up well after being washed numerous times in the washing machine.

Very good at catching food and particulates then get into your sump and filter system. The bigger the better to increase surface area and reduce changing. Have a spare set to use while cleaning a set.

I simply tied this around the pvc coming down from my overflow box and keeping my sump clean has become incredibly easy. I just change them out twice a week and put the dirty ones in the washing machine. It also completely takes care of microbubbles resulting from the overflow water crashing into the sump.

work as well as or better than filter socks on the market. Highly recommend. I recently added and found the felt version and could not believe the amount of waste accumulated in filter sock even with filter pads in place. Must have for complete waste removal program.

Very efficient at catching floating particles and straining the water as it enters the sump. Reduces bubbles better than the mesh but needs to be changed more often as it clogs more quickly.
