I am plumbing my tank and sump using schedule 80 PVC. I tried using the schedule 40 glue and it holds but, I preffer this glue. It is thicker, matches the pipe color and appears to hold better. I did notice it took a couple days to get fully cured. While I let it sit for a couple days I do believe you can put it together and use it just as fast as using the schedule 40 pipe.
