I have used the ABS bulkheads recently as well, which work fine for surface level skimming and such. If you are using bulkheads below surface level and want to be leak-free use these!

I never tried the ABS bulkheads, but went with the schedule 80 ones just for overkill. My only concern was the schedule 80 bulkhead required a larger hole. However, I drilled (4) 48mm holes in my 40 gallon breeder with no issues.

Heavy duty product at a good price. Does what it's suppose to do. First time to drill an aquarium myself. Videos and products helped me to do the job right. What seemed to be complicated was done in about 20 min. from start to finish. Thanks BRS.

These bulkheads are heavy duty with a huge gasket. I wouldn't even bother with the flimsy ones that seem to leak as soon as any pressure is on the bulkhead, e.g. when you use all hard pipe. The only complaint is they don't come in slip x slp.

These don't even compare to ABS bulkheads. Hands down better quality than normal ABS bulkheads. Only issue is they are a bit long so not ideal for back drilled tanks

While I have not yet had the opportunity to put them to use just yet (will be soon). I can honestly say that I would expect nothing short of perfection while using them. The build quality on these things is incredible! I was not expecting them to be so sturdy feeling/just overall "tank-like." Really good product, I would use only these even though there are cheaper ones available, I just like these so much!

If you've ever had a problem with a leaking bulkhead, you have to give these schedule 80 ones a try. Heavy duty and bullet proof are both terms that could be used to describe these.

i am so glad i spent the extra money on these. they work perfectly and seem exceptionally durable. I did have to make the hole in my sump bigger to get it to fit, but 10 minutes with a dremel and i was good to go.

these are solid, well build and with nice thick, juicy gaskets! I was very impressed. The braided nut allows for some very easy tightening. Definitely worth the price for these babies!

Let's face it, the Schedule 80 bulkhead fittings are more expensive. However, the peace of mind they bring is priceless. A bulk-head failure or leak will be catastrophic to a reef tank. I wanted a fitting that would stand the test of time and be industrial grade. These do exactly that and are high quality. They include a nice gasket and should provide years of reliable service.

Once you have these bulkheads in your hand, you will never be satisfied with the cheap ABS variety again. The are build like a tank and the gasket that comes with these it so much better than the one that comes with ABS bulkheads.
