I find it very easy to get good flow thru the reactor to where my gfo tumbles, and carbon doesn't. Takes only about 10min to change out both sides. Will always use for my carbon, gfo needs

I have been using the reactor for around 6 months now. I seam to have much better results via reactor than I did with the media bag. Phosphates stay consistently lower.

I love this reactor. After opening the shipping package I could tell right away that this was quality. I've had other reactors but this is by far the best one I have ever owned. Changing gfo/carbon is no longer a hassle. Has not leaked once and the push fittings that come with the kit are also quality. Highly recommended.

I like how you just turn the water off in screw one of the cylinders and pull out the cartridges dumos what's inside put new in and then your done.

purchased and used this reactor for about a week and so far so good no problems yet from what i see its well built and well designed I couldn't rate the performance a five because only had it for a week but the setup was pretty easy except for the hose being a little stiff and hard to work with overall great price for the buck

These reactors are solid design. The double unit has some weight if mounted on a wall - it could use a stronger mount like stainless steel. It's easly retrofitting if that is a design concern in your application.

Definitely a good quality reactor that will last for years to come....It is really easy to setup, just fill up the inner container with GAC or GFO, then just plug in your pump and your ready to go....I would also suggest getting the cobalt mj1200 pump its definitely worth it.

Many of the reactors cost twice this or more and are only 1 stage. with this reactor you can maintain both GFO and carbon seperatly. So you're not wasting the GFO

I am very disappointed in this product. It would constantly clog and I would have to take it apart and clean the sponges. If I tried to run it without sponges I would have to take it apart and strain the media and this was with running a sponge on the pump. I also saw no reduction in nitrates or phosphates after running it for am month. I also changed the media twice just to be safe. Definitely not worth the money I paid and I would not feel right selling it to someone else.

I have an overstocked reef tank... enough said my phosphates were always a bit high even when I did a lot of water changes. I had to do one every week to keep it at bay. My corals never really had amazing colors and great growth. I bought this product and the BRS GFO and since than my phosphates read zero! I love this thing!

I always had a problem with my phosphates because I like to overstock my tank with fish! What can I say I like to see things swimming around. My phosphates were always a little high because of this and my corals wouldn't grow as fast or have as nice color. Since I got this reactor and the BRS media for it my phosphates have been zero! I love this ting!

If you're like me, you looked everywhere else and still have not decided on which reactor to get. I took the plunge and bought this setup with the pump. I love it. 5 to 10 minutes install ans its done. You will ffind there are no screws to undo, no tricky seals to lineup, and no mess with changing media. You can also buy spare cartridges to have on hand to change media quickly and reuse them forever. The price is right. I'm glad I purchased this reactor combo.
