Quiet efficient pump motor. Some potential problems with impeller seals, but the reeflo customer service overcomes any reservations about buying one. Big water mover, no heat transfer. Best in class.

Unbelivable flow for very low wattage. Love the ability to switch from Dart/Snapper with ease, and additionally, I can throttle the pump back from the output resulting in watts saved and increased seal life. I also love that it comes with a three year warranty. While I hope I don't have to use that, I've heard their customer service is excellenet!

I must say I was originally disappointed that my dart hybrid had a leak in 8 months that caused the bearing to seize up but Chris from Reeflo responded to my emails right away and sent me a new seal which eventually turned into a whole new replacement pump.
Customer service in the US has waned through the years but I'm glad small companies like Reeflo honor their warranty without giving customers too much of a hassle.

I am using this in the Dart configuration and is pumping water in a large manifold to two 135 Gallon tanks, multiple BRS reactors, and will easily supply water and sufficient pressure for additional items off of the manifold such as a Calcium Reactor and Sulfur nitrate reactor. This pump is just about dead silent. I definitly recommend it.

I am using this on my 225g display with 75g sump for about 7 months. Overall I am happy with this pump, it moves a lot of water and is very energy efficient. I have noticed some carbonate buildup near the rotor which tells me the seals may be bad already, kind of dissapointing for being relatively new but I still give 5 stars.

After finally getting a seal kit and new Impeller This pump seems to be doing alright.It does pump a ton of water and is very energy conservative According to my Killawatt my whole system only costs 22.00 a month to run since switching from multiple pumps to this one doing it all and building my LED lighting system. However the multiple reviews I have seen on this pump indicated to me that they are prone to leaking out of the box and needing immediate fixes which goes right along with my first experience with this particular model of Reeflo

I had a similar experience as the previous review but besides the shaft seal needed to get replaced the housing was defective due to over milling. need less to say I was not impressed. I contacted Chris @ reefflo, even though it was during Christmas season and reefflo was closed during that week Chris still made an effort to contact me with-in the same day, after I explained what was happening, he promptly discussed different options for me to correct my problems I opted for the new replacement parts to be sent to me asap which Chris complied and in the mean while we came up with a temporarily solution to get me going. After all the issues I had, I still feel my reefflo was a good choice. It is running strong and I know if I have any issues in the future which I don't really anticipate it will I know I have great people behind this product.

After saving my pennies for a long time to get this pump . Im pretty disapointed in this pump. 1 week to the day after hooking it up I noticed a big glob of salt creep coming from the seal. I have contacted Reeflo and have not seen my new impeller/seal and now that I look at it the motor shaft looks like it may not be straight. At this point in time I can not recommend these pumps. For 300.00 one would think that this would in no way happen .
