I've been using this salt mix for years and can't really say anything bad about it. It mixes as well as any good salt mix and I like the high levels of calcium and magnesium that this mix has, keeps my two part dosing to a minimum. As far as BRS goes, i can't find this salt cheaper anywhere else. If all you need is salt grab three and and get the free shipping, can't beat free shipping. Thanks BRS you got a customer for life.

Reef Crystals is a good synthetic salt. If your doing massive water changes to combat a problem with nitrate or phosphate issues it works great, but be aware that the bacterium do better with a natural sea salt. They can thrive just fine if the parameters are right but it's a whole lot easier with a natural product. I like to do at least 2 small water changes a month with 1 of natural sea salt and 1 of synthetic sea salt. This helps keep the levels stable though not necessary, my Angels do seem to appreciate it.

I was using the regular Instant Ocean salt and even some Top Fin salt with my 135 gallon reef tank and it did OK, but my corals really opened up when I switched over to Reef Crystals. My mushrooms opened up and their colors really popped. My zoanthids are looking better and my Kenya tree is taking over the rock it is on. Having seen how well my corals are looking with Reef Crystals, I wouldn't use anything else for my corals.

I have never had a problem with this salt and I have used it for years. Just be sure to mix slowly because if you dump it in all at once then you might get cloudy water.

this comes with a high Alk (around 14dkh) my sps always seem to grow faster after a water change made with this salt. The calcium on it is about 390-400. FLAWLESS.

I've been using this in my reef for years. Although, alkalinity is a bit low, magnesium and calcium are perfect. I add extra alkalinity to the mixed water change water to suit my aquarium needs. Highly recommended!

LOL, seriously, Reef Crystals is the best out there. Alk is on target with every change and this has been a problem for me when I've tried other salts. My fish and corals do exceptionally well.

When I first switched from regular IO to RC I was very happy. I dont know if I just had a bad batch but levels were a bit off. Ca 360, DKH 6, Mg 1400. This is the first batch that was "off" out of the past 2 years.
