A must have for all!
When I decided to get in to this hobby I ordered around 15 books for my collection. I'm currently around 25 books on various subjects. I always find myself coming back to this book to get the full range of most topics. Even my coral specific books fall a little short to this book when it comes to certain corals. As an academic I must say If I taught a class on Reef Tanks I'd probably use this book.

Few books are worthy of the title 'bible', and this is one of them. The sheer amount of information in this book is astounding, and it's all laid out and explained in such a way that it's easy to understand and comprehend, even the very technical aspects of it.
Anyone who is serious about this hobby should have a copy of this book on their shelf, as I have for the last 10 years. An absolute must for fish nerds and new hobbyists alike.
