I recently switched from IORC to RSCPS and what a difference. I can tell just from mixing the quality difference. The cheaper IORC leaves a floating residue on top of the water in the mixing tank while the RSCPS leaves no residue. Fish and corals have seemed to respond better to this salt too.

I find it interesting to read some of the varying observations in these reviews.
Using a Hanna colorimeter I find that with a fresh mix of 1.025, ALK is at about 15--which is higher than the advertised level. I measured the Ph to be about 8.2.
Beyond that, what I observe over time is the need to dose ALK and Mg, which leads me to believe the Ca, Mg and ALK numbers are actually, in practice, a bit lower than advertised as others have observed.
Beyond that, end results are what matter to me. And I have had tremendous results with this mix over the others I have tried, and for now will use nothing else.

Is anyone checking the actual levels? I bought the salt first because of the advertized levels of Ca, Ak and Mg. and second on price. At 1.025 I find Ca @ 420, Ak @ 8.2 and Mg. @ 1240 all lower than advertized. I find major residue if I aireate the mixed water, and only slight residue if I don't. I can't say that this is any better or worse than the HM reefer salt I have been using, but it is much cheaper. Just disappointed in advertized levels, especially Ak.

This stuffed mixed up exactly as indicated. I have seen some reviews that state when mixed the advertised parameters were way off. I assume this because the person only utilized part of the total. In other words, if you buy a 175 gallon bucket and only make 10 gallons, there is a reasonable chance it could be off. But if you buy 50 gallon bag and mix 45 gallons, you'll probably will be close to advertised parameters.

I had amazing results the first use. Had a couple of floating (flakes?) and some white stuff suspended the first time, the second time everything was crystal clear almost instantly.

I have recently just switched over to used Red Sea Coral Pro Salt. Best decision I have ever made. Made my tank water so crystal clear and it is easy to mix. My corals looks better after using this. Thanks

Salt works just like it claims it does.
Mixes very well and clears up very fast.
I bought the small one just to try it out. Now I need to buy the larger bucket.

after long searching and asking around, this is definatly the best saltwater reef salt on the market!!!
