I have had these for over a year. It took most of my SPS about 8 months to adjust. The fact is they are great for giving amazing color for the tank especial with zoa, acans, and many other LPS.
As far as SPS i don't think the technology is perfected yet. I do believe they will be way of the future for this coral just not yet.
Overall if you love softies and amazing florescent colors the only way to go is Aqua illumination.

Bottom line is the product is made well and in theory is just awesome. I love the control you have but my corals didn't like the light. I spent 4 months trying to dial in the correct combo of intensity and time but my corals suffered the entire time. I finally went back to T5s and they are looking great again.

I love these. The fully controllable option makes them ideal fro any reef tank. Also instead of that core Montserrat under your tank you can have just this with it's win bult in timers well worth every penny!!!!

Excellent build quality and flawless performance. There is a reason the SOL is what every other LED is compared to. And with the recent price drop it now makes this lighting system even more desirable. One word of caution - these things are WAY more powerful than they appear. Acclimate your corals slowly or you will bleach them!

I got my Sol system from Aqua Illuminations in Feb. I still havent' been able to turn them all the way up. They are so powerful I had to leave them at 50% white 80% blue or my corals would bleach. the thunderstorms are interesting too.. you can program them to do anything - including following the moon phases with the night lights, and have a 30% chance of showers.. Love them
