I have yet to find a good wave but the system was easy to get set up. The controller works well. I tried the auto tune but without success of finding a wave for my 220g tank. I'm turning over about 12x so the return flow from my sump is high and maybe creating a bit of issue getting a wave I want. Flow from the wave-box is not as strong as I would prefer and the sweeping of the debris not as good as some other power-heads like the vortech. I like the concept and of the displacement and will keep trying to see what I get.

i have a 300 gallon tank 6'L x 3'w and it makes about a 1" wave once i got it dialed in which takes time. the waves are a short pulse if you have a tank thats longer like 10 or 12 feet it would make a longer pulse just like the ocean and i think it would work best with a very large tank running one on each end. but most people don't have 10' long tanks. i would say if your tank is short you wont be happy with it and the fact that it's about $600
