These pumps are by far the most amazing pump on the market. The ability to adjust the flow and the variety of flow programs is outstanding. They are well worth every penny you spend for them. They are well styled and do not take up a lot of space inside the tank. I give my highest reccomendation for these pumps.

Even though this wireless pump is not wireless (except apparently with one exception that's useless unless you have more than one), is kind of noisy at its highest settings, and is obviously expensive, I love it. I have never seen a product have such a pronounced effect on livestock in the tank. Even the freaking fish are enjoying the "reef crest" flow mode, and the elegance in the middle of my tank has expanded impressively within a few hours. It's a snap to install and use. Looks like I can remove the other clunky powerheads I was using and eliminate the clutter without any problem. And while I can hear it whirring at the higher flow rates, it does not bother me at all. I think the MP40 is a better choice for a 75 reef compared to a single MP10. Even at full blast in reef crest mode, it's not overpowering. I have it dialed back to about 70% and that seems to do the trick.

1st this pump is to much 400 would be much better (which is why i gave it a 4 in value) with that said i still bought 2 with battery back up and absolutely will never buy anything else. you can do so much with this pump, and the peace of mind you get if the power goes out is very nice.i have heard of a few people complain about the noise but i must say it isn't that bad, don't get me wrong they are far from silent but what do you expect the motor is on the outside of the tank

Quickly. They are AWESOME. You see those beautiful tanks on the internet. This is ALOT of their success. My tank went from ""nice" to "INCREDIBLE" after 12 hours of running 2 MP40s. I have a 90gal. I think ECOTECH MARINE shouldn't charge as much for them is the ONLY reason I put 4 stars for value. Don't get me wrong, they are still worth EVERY PENNY! If you have any doubts listen, I held off for quite awhile but now I KNOW I should have PULLED the TRIGGER on this purchase along time ago! 5 STARS PRODUCT!

This pump is outstanding. I no longer have any algae growth in my main display. All of the detritus is swept up by it's variable speeds and ends up where it belongs, in my sump/ skimmer.

No other pump even remotely compares.

As far as the noise, I can only hear it when it goes above 75%, and it's more of a gentle whur. My overflow is much louder so it does not bother me.

What can I say about this powerhead that hasn't already been said. It's an excellent product that works. The cost is high, but I replaced 4 other powerheads with it and I am getting much better flow.

These pumps are awesome. Love the wireless communication with my Radions. The flexibility to make these pumps do exactly what you need is unprecedented. Plus they look great doing it. Little pricey, but a must have for every reef junkey.

Could have save a lot of time and money if I had just bought this first. Wasted a lot of time and money trying to get the proper flow. These are perfect right out of the box. In five minutes you have all the flow you'll ever need.

I love the settings for my aquarium. The pump can actually push more water than my aquarium can handle. If you buy one of these at setup you could arrange your rock to maximize its efficiency.
