I have 2 of these on my 110 gallon reef and I love them. I also have the vortech mp40's on my 125 gallon and I think I prefer the tunze over the vortech for the easy of moving the flow where you want it and super quiet.

Very very pleased with this controlablek powerhead. They are just so awsome in every way. From the mount which is so easy to adjust to the ball shaped powerhead itself. Paired up with a second one and controlled by tunze 7095 I would highly recomend this prodcct to anyone.

I own mp40 before these and I love these no more clicking sounds in my living room as the pumps turn on and off, yes they take up a bigger foot print in the tank but well worth the added quietness

These pumps are very easy to use as well as very powerful. Setup is self explanatory. I own four of them and have had nothing but problems with one. This pump would never listen to the controller. It would either stay on at full speed or shut off completely and not turn back on. After having it sent off twice now it seems to be operating correctly.

I bought two of these for my 320gal FOWLR tank. My tank is 116' long (9 1/2ft). I plugged in one and saw the entire top surface start to ripple pretty good, and when I plugged in the second it just got even better. I am very pleased with this purchase and will definitly buy Tunze for life. Can't wait to get my 6055's and the 7096 controller.

I bought two of these for my 190 Gallon reef tank. I like that it comes with two different discharge pieces, one for narrow water column movement, and one for wide water column movement. These were fairly noisy at first but after a few days they broke in and are now are completely silent. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it.

I have two of these in a 4x2 tank and bought the wide flow kit along with the 24v jumper. they move a lot of water. I had a transformer go on one already it was 1 year 2 months old, tunze took care of it but i wasn't completely satisfied. I wish they could send the part first instead of waiting to get yours back first. I had to buy another to get it running fast, then send my part back plus I had to pay the shipping. For almost $400 they should make it easier for the consumer.

My first experience with one of these was to replace a much more expensive "equivalent" pump on a 72x24x24 tank. It was amazing to see all the detritus that was able to settle into the rocks and sand with the old pump! In a matter of a few seconds after turning on the 6105 the tank was cloudy with it - this pump is a beast!

At maximum setting with the standard nozzle, this pump has a 6'x2' flow cone. WIth the wide nozzle (included) it has a cone about 5'x3'.

Considering that you can *really* hide the pump in a Stream Rock, connect to a controller for waves/random flow, the pump's reach of flow, the 360º mount flexibility - this is a superior solution for moving water!

I have two of these. I was goine to buy the vortec but was concerened about the noise I heard they made. The Tunze do make some noise when at 100% but you can also change the watts from 12 to 18 to 24 with 24 having the most power. You can also adjust the direction you point them in as well as change from regular to wide flow as they come with two types of front covers

Just bought this thing from BRS. I was a little nervous about upper end of the flow numbers and how well I could control it without a separate controller. There is a little red knob to twist for desired flow. The changeable voltage acts like a flow restrictor. The higher the voltage the more available flow. I will be buying another and adding the 7096 controller.
