I have this product installed on a 4 stage R/O DI unit in my basement which is custom piped into my wall in my tank room. The shut off valve has been working fine for the past 80 -100 gallons of fresh RO/DI water production. However, recently I have noticed that my pressure gauges will randomly spike from 0 to 60 PSI, even though my 50 gallon RO/DO storage tank is full and the tank float valve is in the closed position. This results in the unit randomly turning on and off and water trickling out of the waste line for no particular reason... It's clear that I have a faulty valve. andI am hesitant to buy another as I question the longevity of this part...

Works great, I have mine taking 80 PSI of pressure and it works just right.

Very simple to use and install. BRS tv even had a nice video to help. I added this to my RODI to ensure my combo drinking water and DI system did not waste water by continuously running. A must have for a combo system, or combined with a BRS float valve.

Purchased my first autoshut off from an aquarium store, bad move. Charged me $18 bucks and the thing could not hold the pressure. The line would pop off and spit water everywhere. Purchased a second one from BRS and works like a charm, easy to install!

This valve works great with a float valve (in this case a Kent Marine) - way better than the Kent Marine shut-off, which took much longer to stop the water through-put on my RO, and much less expensive. Don't wast water!!!

These work great and last a long time but not forever. I recommend a having a spare or you may end up paying the difference on your water bill.
