    read previous review - I only have a couple of things to add: 1) you will need thread tape on screw-on connections. 2) you don't have to connect the black waste water line to the air-gap faucet. Go directly from the RO unit to the drain; Tee the blue supply line going to the tank, directly up to the air-gap faucet. Works fine. You do lose the ability to prevent a vacuum from drawing in backed up sewage into your faucet and tank potentially, but beats the noise and hassle of the air gap faucet. Keep in mind - there is a one way check valve which you can get that will also prevent the backup, should it occur. I would've purchased it had i known.

    I didn't know there was gonna be so much waste water, and the air gap facet leaks water on my sink then drips under my sink. not happy

    The whole system was very easy to install. The how to video helped out a lot. After cycling about 10 gallons through the entire system I was getting water coming out at 7ppm, and that was water coming from a broken water softener. Water tasted good, no off tastes due to pressurized tank. I bought the DI filter after the fact. Should have got the 5 stage kit in the first place.

    This was an easy setup. It replaced a single canister filter. It has been working good an at about $90 to replace the old filter I thought this was a good alternative.

    So first off my plumbing skills are about a 2 or 3 on a scale of 1-10. My sink is about 50 years old and is a cast iron sink and what a job is was to drill a 1-1/8th inch whole in it. The pipe under the sink to the cold water did not fit the setting they gave me due to how old it was and I had to go to a local store and change that part. All in all it took about 4 hours to get it running. Its true it has a slight noisy hissing sound but its not that bad. The tank fills it self in about an hour. The membrane flush kit made it VERY easy to flush. My finance dad is getting one to, and I am so happy I can clearly taste the difference from my tap water. Also i dealt with two leaks but i fixed those in less than 5 mins,

    For those who can't decide, buy from here. They use high quality industry standard parts. You can find cheaper, but beware. You can spend more if you want to pay for "the name".

    I recently purchased this RO Drinking water system from BRS. The system as a whole is very nice. It's easy to install, maintain and use. I like the clean taste and the use for my aquarium is a plus.

    My only gripe is with the faucet. This is an "AIR-GAP" faucet. This faucet has a tiny hole in front of it that functions much like a siphon break in case of backflow and prevents drain (or clogged sink) water from backflowing into the RO system. Good idea in general, but it is VERY NOISY. I recommend if you do not require this for your building codes that you bypass the the drain connections on the faucet. This required me to buy the 1/4" saddle drain and check valve here at BRS. The stock drain valve is 3/8" for the faucet's large drain tube. The check valve provides the protection the air gap is trying to accomplish without all the noise.

    Like I said, great overall system for a great price, but needs a little tweaking to quiet it down.

    The customer service at BRS is excellent. Due to the shipping, my RO unit had a cracked nipple on arrival. Brandon, the customer service manager, promptly sent me two replacement parts via 2 day shipping and also explained how to install them. The system is up and runnign now and fills the 3+ gallon tank in just an hour. Excellent price and great quality. I highly recommend it.
