    I have this installed right before the RO membrane and tells me the PSI of source water going into the membrane. If the pressure drops too low than average then that would tell me if there is a clog/damaged hose line or either sediment, carbon, chlorplus are in need of a change.

    Bought this to test the pressure in other water lines (pump driven) as well as a backup for my RO. I feel like it's good for taking out and using for 'sanity checks', but if I were hooking it up permanently I'd probably go for the glycerine filled one instead.

    Bought the 150gpd water saving kit and although the efficiency of my RODI unit significantly increased, I thought that it was a little below par, so I added this and found out that I need a booster pump. Great product, and not available at any hardware or plumbing supply stores in my area

    I ended going with this over the glycerin filled one due to the price. It was a bit jumpy when I had it connected around my booster pump. After moving it closer to the RO membrane it is perfectly steady. You may want to opt for the glycerin filled depending on your placement.

    Either way, a pressure gauge is a great thing to have on an RODI system. If you don't have the proper pressure you could be getting far less output than what it's rated for or you could be damaging it by too much pressure.
