I initially found not issues with this pump. Now that I've had it up and running for over a year, I am starting to have some trouble with it. My main issue is that after I shut the pump off for maintenance, the pump will not restart when I turn the power on. I have cleaned the pump out and the problem persists. It will only restart if I push the prop with a screwdriver (terrifying) or if the pump isnt submerged. I hope Sicce fixes this.
poor design By Stephen on 7/1/2016

First the rubber feet do not stay on. Second, the hose barb thread ring does not thread to the bottom of the thread. Third, once a hose is on the bard, the slightest lateral force causes the entire thread ring to come off disconnecting the barb.

I have this pump on a 240 gallon system. I have it dialed down with a ball valve now, but when I move and have my sump in a basement, this monster will get the job done, I have no doubts. I have my return split into two and it also must feed a manifold holding my media reactors. I have to purchase the silicon mats to reduce the noise, which isn't terrible, because the small white silicon feet that came with the pump aren't quite doing the job for me.

I replaced a lifegard aquatics quite one 6000 aka the new Sicce Syncra pro series. The syncra hf 10 produces almost twice the volume and consumes 10 less watts. I couldn't be happier. Sicce's packaging sucks!, the first pump was damaged. BRS shipped me a new one right away!
