Very nice design and strong support for the light. However if your using it for a complete set up you will need to get the extension that doesn't come with this. This is just the mounting bracket and I made the mistake of forgetting the extension. Otherwise, very happy with product and how BRS helped me.

Fits together well with the whole AI system. Recommended for a clean looking lighting installation on your tank.

If they had taken the time to design a place for the power cord to go this would be a 5 star review. It is well made and has a clean look, except for the power cord that you have to wrap around it or tape in place.

It's as advertised - a 48" piece of aluminum with a mounting bracket. It also comes with 2 slotted set screws (these do not sit flush and could have been engineered for a much more professional install for a few pennies more) for the vertical rail, and a short set screw (hex slotted and flush mounted) for the overhanging horizontal rail (not included). There are no screws included for mounting the aluminum bracket to the stand.
The aluminum bar has VERY sharp edges and they could have spent a few cents to machine the edges.
If you stand has a lip on the top, you will need to shim the bracket to make it clear the lip. I used 2.5" steel stand offs with rubber washers from Lowes.
Don't forget you will also need the horizontal EXT rails to mount the fixtures. I have a pair of Vegas mounted lengthwise over a 36" tank and needed two 12" and one 6" rail to position them correctly.
If I had the option of hanging the lamps I would have gone that route rather than the rails.
