chefmur would recommend this product to a friendslowly replacing my metal halides over a 150, the first Radion was the gen 2 and I love it. I am loving the reduced heat and programing options. They make my SPS colors pop, growth is still not sure at this point. I am not sure if the Radion Pro are worth the extra $250 over the gen 2 I have noticed very little difference at this point. However these lights are amazing, I love the idea I can set for high growth during day then enjoy the colors of corals when I get home from work by changing the program.
Very well built and echo tech amazing customer service are worth a premium but not sure they are worth $900., thats why I gave them 4 stars, but I will probably get one more to complete the set over my reef. -

Shaun would recommend this product to a friendI switched from HO T-5 lighting on my tank . Which I thought made tanks look pretty good. But these leds make water look good and corals really pop. When I compare to my other two tanks Which look yellow now. I have had them running for 4 days now and cant stop looking at them awesome set up. Once you get light you should log into ecotech live and watch demo videos will explain how to use and set lighting and time schedule better. -

The ability to adjust every light and level is great. Even if you have just started you will benifit from these lights. Great lights. Don't wait like i did. -

Jeff Laliberte would recommend this product to a friendI was worried about a spotlight effect, but that's not the case here. I love the slow ramp up at dawn and ramp down at dusk. They are quite bright at full intensity so take it easy early on ( it has a software option to do this for you if you want, cool ). Compared to Gen 1 and Gen 2 I can't say as I haven't had those LEDs, but so far so good, time will tell.
