I just received my Mag Simplex and I am very impressed with the quality of the material and the low profile inside cleaner is a huge plus for a nano tank. I'm using it on my 1.5 gallon. What I did not like was the fact that it's hard to rotate the inside cleaner. There is a round magnet on a square magnet. So rotating to get into corners is a little tricky but I'd buy it again if I had to.

This is my favorite algae magnet I've ever had. I love how its all encased in acrylic so that the salt water doesn't rust the magnet, and on top of that it looks pretty good for a scrubber. I prefer small algae magnets, but on a tank bigger than 29g I'd need the duplex.

Nice nano mag. It's strong enough for stubborn algae, nice looking,and small enough to get in and around live rock if stacked against the glass. The only draw back with it is that it don't float, but I have an old mag. tied to a string that I use as a recovery mag. so it's not a big deal for me.

Bought this for my 20 gallon, actually wanted the duplex but they were sold out. This one is too small and would only recommend for nano tanks. Not too impressed with the power of the magnet. Will look to spend more to get a cleaner with a stronger magnet.

Vertex Cleaner MAG SIMPLEX its perfect for nano aquariums, sleek desing, compact and does the job. I have two of them in my nanos and they are great.
